Appearance: Thrice Without is a Raijin, a race of humanoids with darkened skin with electricity jutting along their frames. He has sharpened fangs and purple vein-like markings along his body. From his forehead stem two electrically charged horns with purple tips. His hair is a messy black, and his eyes are a vibrant purple.

Thrice Without will almost never be seen without a tattered black scarf that covers his lips. With this, he will often wear a pancho-like over shirt that will cover his entire body down to his ankles. Beneath that, he wears a loose sleeveless gi with lean but defined muscles beneath that. He wears light hakama pants that stop just below his knees. Both his ankles and wrists have black bandages.

Thrice Without carries with him three swords. The first is a wakizashi strapped to the back of his waist. The second is a katana sheathed at the hip. The final is a nodachi carried on the back. All have ornate purple sheaths and ornate hilts.
Personality: Thrice Without is a silent and stoic individual who seldom expresses his emotions outside of his actions with a blade. Going as far as to even hide his face behind his scarf, many cannot tell what is on his mind. What is certain, of course, is that he has a strong sense of justice and comradery.

This stoicism can often give off an intimidating appearance. However, Thrice Without never expresses hostilities unless people deserve it. Even with that, Thrice Without will remain calm and collected when dealing with any foes.

Despite this calm yet intimidating manner, Thrice Without enjoys the simpler things in life as well. He is prone to read books and enjoys various types of alcohol in his spare time. He also enjoys standing out in thunderstorms.
Power and Abilities: Like every Paragon of Blades, Thrice Without is a master swordsman. As per his name, he fights with three blades and is a master of all three. Each one he can swing with blinding speed and deadly precision.

On top of this unparalleled swordsmanship, Thrice Without can utilize powerful lightning magic that he can both send forward and imbue into his sword. This can extend from his horns, his hands, or even be called down from the sky.

On top of all this, Thrice Without is a genius fighter. He can plan around fighting multiple opponents at once, and will often use his intellect and the terrain to outwit his opponents. While not a seasoned battle commander, he can direct group fights as well.
Backstory: Born in the far reaches of the northern area of Terranadacia, Thrice Without talks very little about his past. Any attempt to pry into his past will be met with an apathetic grunt and nothing more. Because of this, only wild speculation occurs. Many think he came from Teda Changshi, but nobody but Thrice Without knows for certain.

The only thing that is known is that he is one of the founding members of the Paragons of Blades. He has been with the Blades since before even the leader, Once Devout, took their name. Some believe he is the true original founder.

Yet, Thrice Without is neither concerned with speculation nor mystery. Instead, he wanders the world righting wrongs and helping those less fortunate. Any and everything else is secondary.
