Nomad Prince Amandrith

"Ghyran is lost to us, but this is not the end of our people. Even if it takes a million years, I will return my people to glory. I swear it."

Amandrith is tall, like all aelves, but he has a bit more bulk compared to the rest of his kin. His powerful muscles are larger and more defined, his facial features are a little stronger and less sharp than normal and he is generally more intimidating than the usual aelf. His golden hair hangs down to his shoulders, framing a strong but still handsome face and brown eyes. Or eye might be more accurate.

The entire right side of his face was disfigured and his eye was torn out during his vicious duel with the monster known as the Dripping King. Indeed, his whole body still bares the scars of that terrible battle, violent slashes of red streaking across his smooth, pale skin that tell the tale of his duel with the Chaotic abomination. While aelven healers could have removed such injuries, he chose to keep them. To Amandrith, they are a reminder of what he has endured during his travels, ensuring he never underestimated a foe again.

Amandrith tends to wear dark, natural coloured clothing when he travels anywhere. The muted colours make it easier for him to disappear into the forest and wilds he tends to dwell in or near, complimenting his skills at stealth and deception. Beneath these clothes he wears a shirt of chainmail crafted by the finest Ghyran smiths. He often wears a small backpack filled with anything he might need to survive on his travels, food, water, healing items etc. Upon his back usually sits a simple but finely made bow formed from solid oak. The arrows Amandrith uses are each custom made by his own hand and rest within a quiver carried on his back next to his pack.

Ever since leaving Ulgu, he has carried Talu, a sword named after the aelven word for hatred or vengeance. It is an ancient and powerful blade that has been wielded by many aelf heroes over the years and was given to him by the mysterious rulers of the Darkling Covens as thanks for him slaying the Grinning Queen. Outwardly it resembles a normal aelven blade but it is no simple sword. Talu can pierce flesh and armour with ease, no matter how thick or tough, and never dulls or losses its edge but that is not what makes it truly special. Old, half-forgotten legends say that the blade has slain so many evil creatures that it now emits an aura of dread that terrifies any evil creature nearby. When drawn in the presence of Beastmen or Greenskins or some other aelven foe, this aura causes even the bravest foe to flee or freeze up in utter terror, making them ease prey for Talu's wielder.
