Encased in a seamless form of grace,
A potential source of life's embrace.
Neither stone nor jewel, yet by many prized,
In countless forms, I am realized.
Peeks of snow in the culinary quest,
A participant in form, flavor, if not zest.
What am I, that in simplicity, does thrive,
Nurturing bodies to keep alive?

At night, I come alive, unseen,
A tapestry of the in-between.
Neither here nor there, in shadows, I dance,
A realm of chance, and circumstance.
A painter of unseen worlds, vast and wide,
Worlds where untold secrets hide.
Kings and paupers share the same stage,
Boundless, I am, over time or age.

Cloaked in fur as soft as night,
Eyes aglow like lanterns light.
Neither beast of burden nor faithful hound,
Yet in many homes, I am found.
A: Cat
On lofty heights, I proudly sit, a treasure not of gold.
A guardian of many thoughts, of tales both new and old.
Neither king nor peasant, I make no claim,
Yet I stronghold hearts all the same.
