• Background

  Piper has never quite fit in, in any of the many schools she has been in. She struggles to make friends due to being horribly insecure, and her somewhat quirky personality makes it difficult for her to blend easily with others. Her parents have also moved twelve times in nine years, her limited time in each place makes it difficult for her to gain close friends. She isn't necessarily teased, or treated badly, she is simply... invisible.
  
  It's pretty much the same at home. Her parents regard her on a good day with polite disinterest and not much else, at worst, they are emotionally and physically abusive. Neither of them appear to have really wanted kids to begin with. It's too bad, because if anyone cared to get to know her, they might find out that she's pretty awesome.
