Ukichi

A small, black, nine tailed fox that's a little larger than a beagle, but more slender, and elegant in appearance. Her fur is almost pure black except for a double star marking on her forehead. The white outer star has thirteen points and the black inner star has four points. It's eyes are are golden, and catlike in appearance. While the kitsune's ears are hare like in appearance, but not quite as large in proportion when compared to an actual hare. She also possesses sharp, catlike, white claws on her paws. The nine prominent tails are more slender then a normal fox's tail and prehensile. Sometimes white, blue foxfire can be see on the tips of the tails and around the ankles.

Note: A kitsune can never completely hide their tails no matter how skilled in shape-shifting they may be.

Human: Ukichi isn't limited to one set human form, but she does have a few limitations regarding how it looks. She will almost always have a fox like face which is narrow with close-set eyes, thin eyebrows, and high cheekbones. The only time she will have a different kind of face is when she is copying the appearance of another person. However no matter what kind of appearance she takes, she will always have a tattoo of nine fox tails in a pinwheel formation, somewhere on her body. Favorite places for hiding this mark are on the scalp, armpit, butt cheek, inner thigh or the bottom of one foot. She will also always have a piece of jewelry with a large golden pearl worn somewhere on her person. That golden pearl is her Hoshi no Tama.

Normal Fox: When Ukichi wishes to blend in, but not as a human, she takes the form of a silver fox. The only clue that she is more then what she seems is her extra thick and fluffy tail. This tail is a result of fusing her nine tails into one.

Ukichi is a creature who loves her freedom to an extreme extent. She keeps no territory as she has no interest in being restrained by one. On top of this, she refuses to side with either good or evil since she doesn't want to be bound by either alignment. Instead she spends her time wandering wherever she pleases and doing whatever she wants. If she feels like helping someone, she'll help them, if she feels like hurting someone, then she'll hurt them. She is also a trickster at heart.

However this doesn't completely mean that she can't be tied down by anything. Should she ever accept a mate, she will be faithful to him as long as he is faithful to her. Ukichi will also consider his thoughts when it comes to her wandering. If he betrays that trust, then she will attempt to kill him. If she ever has kits, then she will be a good mother to them and give up wandering until they are able to choose their own path. However she will be very finicky when it comes to accepting a mate as she wants to be sure that she chooses one worthy of her devotion.

Ukichi may offer gifts to those who have befriended her, but the person to whom the gift is offered must take care. For the "gift" is also a test. If they ask for something like wealth or power, then they will wind up victims of illusions. They will enjoy a brief period of happiness lavishing over the money that is actually nothing more then bewitched leaves/stones or ordering illusionary servants in a castle that exists only in their mind and ultimately end up worse off then before. True kitsune gifts are intangibles such as wisdom, longevity and protection.

When it comes to the nicknames she had picked up over the years, she tends to regard them with mirth. She doesn't regard herself as fearsome as they make her out to be saying that they brought their bad luck onto themselves by pissing her off.

In all, she's a trickster and wanderer at heart who knows what she wants out of life. Would like a mate if she could find a suitable one, but won't die from loneliness either. Her only real goals for her life are to explore and learn about the world around her while amusing herself at the same time.
