• The History

  His Family:
  Ajax Petras is the middle child of five children born to George and Tabitha Petras. Originally from Athens, the Petras family moved to Amsterdam when Ajax was only two due to a promotion his father received at the security firm where he worked. From there, they have moved several times: London, Sydney, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Currently, they reside in New York City.
  
  His Education and Occupation:
  Having a close connection to his family, he opted to commute to New York University from his family's home in Long Island, where he is currently seeking a Master's degree in geography. In order to have spending money, he works as a bartender at a Maggie's Potions a few nights of the week--when he doesn't have class.
  
  His Hobbies:
  His interest in geography stems from a close connection to nature that he has nurtured since childhood. It started with collecting rocks and sand. From there, he developed a fascination with photographing rock formations. As he grew older, this grew into a curiosity about how they were formed. That being said, Ajax spends a lot of time hiking on trails and taking pictures of the landscape and wildlife. This interest in photography has since expanded to include taking pictures around New York City and Long Island, although he still tends to focus on the wildlife and stray animals that inhabit the city. During his undergraduate degree from NYU, he used to provide pictures for the school newspaper. However, he has moved on to providing photos for the school's social media pages.
  
  His personality and mentality:
  Being the middle child of five and the only boy, he has a deep respect for family and women. This leads to him spending a lot of time doing activities with his family and hanging out with his sisters, especially his younger sister, Taina, who shares his love of nature. When not with family, he is rather relaxed about trying new things that his friends enjoy, as he values being open to new experiences and figuring out what he enjoys. This shows in the optimistic way he approaches most endeavors in life.
