  Alright, well… I’m from a place called ‘Nimes’ (Nee – mez). I’d be surprised if you’d ever heard of it for two reasons – One, I’m pretty sure that village was so small that the baker was my cousin and the girl he was with was also my cousin… Don’t think too hard about that. Two, in one of the more recent invasions by the Terrans, we were one of the closest villages to the border and… Well, Nimes doesn’t exist anymore.
  
  Lucky for me, I survived. Joy, right? I mean the gift of life is… Just… Great. I guess. I joined the military as soon as I was allowed, saw it as something I could help with, maybe do well for myself and work my way up – The dream, you know? Definitely helps having my knowledge as a strategist and the military will reward you handsomely if you can coordinate this stuff, so… Hooray for me.
  
  Unfortunately knowing how to fight a war from a map does nothing when your village is swarmed by Terrans who decide they want you dead because someone from however long ago said so because they’re stupid… Me and one other guy from our squad managed to make it out alive. I use that term loosely because he decided to settle down and have kids and now lives up in the mountains. I married… Uh… This bottle. And my kids are… You know what? Nevermind.   + Drinking. There’s a fun little idiom people use for cats saying ‘If I fits, I sits’. Well for Greg… If it’s booze… He wants it.
  
  + Flirting. Don’t get it twisted. Greg is a true tactician at heart and the games of trying to pick somebody up at a party is a game of tactics in and of itself.
