  Background

  Renata is a very well-spoken Fulguran that is finishing her training to become a doctor. Her family is fairly poor and she tries to use her money to help them. She also has been known to be rather superficial in many regards. While there is no proof, a common rumor about her is that she once refused to hug the family of a patient because they appeared rather dirty. She also has allegedly claimed she wants a noble family to see her and want their son to marry her. Then she wouldn’t have to worry about money anymore. So far, though, she’s had no such luck. Instead she buries herself in her work to try and make more money for the benefit of herself and her family.
  
  When she was 13 she was learning how to safely reach the upper limits of her powers when the incident happened. She was trying to find out how much electricity she could create and ignored her instructor’s warnings to stop when she reached 1.21 gigawatts and felt she could go higher. Sadly that was a mistake and she was electrocuted and knocked unconscious. When she woke up she had burns all along her body – The most severe being along her back.
  
  After going through that, she decided that fighting wasn’t for her. She didn’t handle pain all that well. She was very grateful to the doctors who had helped her recover and they had convinced her to go into medicine instead, so that’s exactly what she decided to do. Regardless of her family’s status in the country, she does sometimes get a bit haughty and can act as if she’s above other people in class. She’s not a big fan of being touched and she’s greatly turned-off by people with bad manners. This results in much teasing from her colleagues.
