Appearance: Lena has the appearance of a young woman with short parted crimson red hair, and vibrant green eyes. She has light skin and a slightly sleek yet muscular form, and a tattoo of her family’s sigil on her navel.

Her armor is red and ornate, and she has a bannered cape hanging from her shoulders. Her armor is exposed at the navel, and she commonly wears only tight fitting glistening black pants underneath.

Lena is proficient in greatswords and carries her own ornate version of a great sword both on journeys and in tournaments.

Personality: Even from a young age, Lena has had a strong sense of justice that demands she do the right thing and helps out those weaker than her. She is stubborn and headstrong, often not letting unjust laws or more powerful opponents get in the way of invoking some sense of justice.

While she is very aware of the hunger that her vampiric blood brings, she is strictly against drinking human blood. However, the hunger seeps at her mind and her very soul.

Her relationship with her family is strained at best. Her mother ‘died’ at a young age. Her father has been a shadow of his former self since she left their life, but they still love one another.

Her relationship with her twin is the most complicated. Upon their mother’s death, Blaire disappeared, and the following 8 years resulted in Lena hearing nothing but rumors of vampiric assaults on neighboring villages. Despite her concerns, she still deeply loves her twin and hopes to one day find her.

Abilities and Powers: Lena’s physical prowess is one of the most proficient in all her kingdom. She has been trained all her life by the best knights and royal guards in the art of swordsmanship, archery, horsemanship, politics, and strategy. On top of this, her natural vampiric strength, senses, reflexes, and stamina ensure that only the most adept of foes can defeat her head on.

The drawbacks to being half-vampiric, however, is that Lena experiences a constant urge to feed. It’s not as prominent as if she were a full vampire, but it still eats away at her. She hasn’t fed yet, but there may be a day soon...

The story so far: Long ago, there was a noble lord who ruled over a small patch of land in the Inatis Kingdom. This lord, a valiant hero and one of the king’s mightiest warriors, ruled over his land with both justice and benevolence. This man was Peter of House Lance, lord of the Eastern Lands. He was a fierce fighter, often times going to wars as well as slaying monsters of all kinds.

One day, a new dungeon was found in his territory. Several would-be adventurers ventured and never returned. Lord Lance then took it upon himself to slay whatever was in the dungeon. What he found would change his life forever. Inside was a beautiful if bloodthirsty vampire female, and her myriad of victims. Fighting bravely, Peter managed to take the woman down. Yet, just before he was to strike the final blow, he looked into her eyes and fell deeply in love.

Coming to her senses, the vampiress fell in love with the lord, both for his nobility and his mercy. In a heartbeat, the two were married, and the new lady soon gave birth to twin daughters. The elder of the two was Lena.

Being the older of the two, Lena was expected to succeed her father one day as ‘lord’ of the lands. Growing up, Lena was closer to her father and aspired to great heights. She trained in the formal arts, and excelled in them, especially over her younger sister, Blaire. Despite this, the two sisters had a close upbringing, and the whole family loved each other greatly.

However, there was a dark secret in this family. The lady of the castle required to feed every month. While Lance did not know, the lady ventured far from the lands to do so; killing innocent people in order to keep herself alive.

This was eventually brought to the attention of the king himself, who quickly ordered a king’s guard to see to the matter. The King’s Heart learned the truth, and skewered the lady in the heart, announcing to the kingdom that she was dead.

Lena and her sister, as well as their father, were devastated. In fact, not too long afterward, the king’s guard was gored and killed… and her dear sister was gone…

Her father was a shell of a man. He announced that the King’s guard had killed the vampire, but at the cost of his own life as well as the life of his daughter. Lena was further devastated by her loss. Yet, she grew from the experience, striving to protect the weak from those who would do others harm. Now eighteen, she is ready to venture into the world on her own monster hunting and warfighting missions. The question is, how long can she keep her own urges down.
