History:
When Simone’s mother, a prominent Shadow Lord spy known for her daring feats of infiltration, fell pregnant, there were questions. No one had had any knowledge of a possible mate. Mariah Levallia offered no answers. She only welcomed her little girl cub as any mother Garou would. Simone grew up idolizing her mother, even as she was gone for months at a time enacting the Shadow Lord’s will, ever the loyal servant to her tribe. And Mariah always kept her word about when she would return, as reliable as she was efficient. Simone begged her for stories of her exploits, but only ever received secretive smiles and vague accounts, being told that she would be allowed to know when she truly joined the Shadow Lords. The bond between mother and daughter only grew stronger with Simone’s First Change and passing the trials of the Shadow Lords.

In addition to learning the ways of spirits as a Theurge, Simone became her mother’s dutiful protege, learning how to blend in with a crowd or grab attention as befitting the circumstances. The latter was most certainly aided by young woman’s budding beauty and confidence. Simone was eager, taking joy in how with but a bat of her eyelashes she could wrap a man around her little finger, find weaknesses, ever proud of how she was proving to be worthy of her mother’s legacy. Mariah had but one rule in her work however: she would never seduce a target. She expected the same of her daughter. But such ideals were not to hold. Not in this lifetime.

When Simone was eighteen, her mother went off on yet another assignment for the tribe. She said she would return by the winter solstice. The winter solstice came. She did not return. Months later, she was still gone. A year later, and Simone still felt her absence and the looming pressure to take on her responsibilities. Craving anything resembling a lead, Simone went to the Elder Council, only for them to withhold any information to do with her mother. They did, however, offer a deal. Become their eyes, ears, and fangs, and they would feed her answers, scrap by precious scrap. A curious thing to do in the wake of their great blade in the dark’s disappearance. Yet Simone was desperate, and so she accepted the deal. But first, she had to prove herself Mariah’s heir. Her assignment: to kill an influential Ventrue.

With the knowledge garnered from her conversation with spirits, young Simone was able to charm her way into a gala and catch her target’s attention. She supposed she was lucky the Kindred had a liking for dangerous liaisons, enough that he was willing to see what it was like to bed a Garou. Simone almost hesitated, her mother’s rule ever present at the back of her mind. Almost. A Shadow Lord did the dirty work, the work that needed to be done, and she played her part. The little death became the Ventrue’s final death.

Since that night, Simone Levallia has become her mother’s successor and more. She is an is invaluable asset to the Shadow Lords, their mystic femme fatale assassin whose aloof grace and refined bearing draws human and monster alike like moths to a flame. Cold and calculating, Simone is merciless, wielding knowledge as easily as an Ahroun would wield a weapon, ever the sophisticated lady of class and dignity. And time and time again, she breaks her mother’s rule, all for the sake of the pieces of information the Elder Council provides in exchange for her loyal service. Let it never be said that Simone is not dutiful.
