    When first seeing or meeting him, Mi definitely seems like a bit of a prickly cactus. He generally doesn't emote much, and usually just keeps quiet unless there's a reason for him to speak. He almost seems grumpy, but he's definitely not a cold person at heart. While he won't hesitate to physically and verbally confront someone when he's upset— he has a very short fuse— he's usually relaxed.

    While definitely still hotheaded, Milan is initially closed-off and quiet mainly because he's just a little introverted. He likes meeting new people but feels as if he'd also be fine without them, so he doesn't usually approach them.

    Once you get to know him, though, he's quite a caring person. He's awkward when he first starts a conversation and is almost a little shy. He has genuine interest in people and can almost come off a little childish sometimes with his happiness when someone actually likes him. He's very concerned about the people he cares about, a complete 180 from how he might initially appear. He tries to sugarcoat things when he can, but he’s really bad at it. He also likes to tease his friends, but he’s very easily flustered.

  • Biography

    Milan grew up in a children's care home since his single mother could not care for him. He spent the first fifteen years of his life with no parental figures aside from his caretakers, and it definitely wasn't the same as having parents. Kids in school would often tease him about coming from a care home and exclude him from their groups, and he got into his fair share of fights. As such, he was labeled as a "troubled" child. Some fights were severe enough to cause hospitalization for some of the participants, and in general, being in a poorly-run care home was tough on his mental health.

    In his second year of high school, Mi was finally adopted by an older couple who he refers to as "Mama" and "Mom" who felt up to the challenge of raising him. They lived with a few other members of their family, running a successful sweet shop that had a few different stores in the area. Having a supportive and close-knit family along with weekly therapy helped lift his spirits, but he continued getting into fights-- albeit not as severe or frequent-- which gained him a poor reputation.

    His grades were always bad no matter how hard he tried. The bullying had greatly diminished due to how frequently he lashed out, at least.

    He continues working in the candy (mostly chocolate and fancy hard candy) shop with his mother and mom, and has a good relationship with all of his immediate adoptive family. Occasionally, he has conversations with other alumni who visit the shop, but his school-related relationships have never really gone further than that. Despite his efforts, he still gets into some fights— his reputation doesn’t help with the provocations for them.
