Andromeda Van Kovak

Most of Andromeda's friendships are a complete fake. She becomes close to people earning their trust but it's very hard for her to actually trust anyone outside her bloodline so the person most think they know is not who she really is but just the part of her she wants to let them see. She is very wary of who she chooses to share her thoughts and even more feelings with.

She feels drawn however to women of power such as herself with wits and strong personalities. Those that could potentially be opponents or dangerous to her also seem to catch her attention quite often. She's much more likely to become actual friends with a woman than she is with a man. Men are basically toys for her, objects of passion, but women... Those that have brains, power and sass, someone she can party with, would give life a whole different color. Who knows, she might end up wanting to bond further than friendship with a woman of such characteristics.

Being enemies with Andromeda is far much easier than becoming friends. There are many things she despises in a person and even the very things she likes in some she will hate in others. She despises people who think they are better than her and those that don't respect authority (specially hers). If anyone offends her in any way they can automatically consider themselves part of her shit-list and she'll likely bite back eventually.

She enjoys sweet slow revenges though, ruining a person's life slowly and watching them on their fall is far more delightful than simply killing them or hurting them out of a passionate wave of rage. No, it is better to wait, watch the enemy and go for the throat when they are most vulnerable. She however is known for the violence of the punishments she applies to those that disobey her. If she has to choose between keeping people around out of love and fear she'll no doubt pick fear.

Andromeda knows very well what heartbreak feels like and she won't likely let anyone have that power over her again for last time it almost killed her. Love is pain and weakness and she wants none of those in her life anymore, so she's practically closed the door to any kind of intimate deep connection with anyone.

She is however the kind of person who takes interest in people rather easily and she can get heavily obsessed over a person to the point where she'd literally stalk them. She appreciates beauty and it's not that hard to get her attention. She is a passionate lover who'd make any man feel like he's her everything, the centre of her world only to then leave them once her obsession has passed.

It's not impossible for Andromeda to find herself somehow drawn towards someone and develop affection towards them, in that case she won't just leave them she'll likely stay around. However this isn't common, for she gets easily bored of people.

She also tends to be very possessive over her lovers when they are with her and even after they've split up if she sees them with someone else she might get jealous and do her best to ruin their date, many times having stollen them from their new partner and once she'd be done she'd just dispose of them again.

Typical Relationship type: Typically won't attach herself to anyone in a relationship, though she easily gets obsessed with people. She's more keen to have one night stands more than actual relationships.

Andromeda's family was one of the most powerful noble houses in the late dutch Renaissance. A rival family sent an armed group to attack their house and Andromeda's parents were murdered in that attack. Her brother Sirius and herself survived and Sirius is now her only alive blood relative. She turned him four years after she was turned herself and while they don't have a very close relationship he does mean a lot for Andromeda. He is his little brother after all, it doesn't matter if he is 423 years old, he's always going to be her baby.

While not being capable of having biological children of her own due to the abyssal infection she has become the matriarch of an entire vampire bloodline that now forms her court, organizing each of their moves and of course making sure the community is always well fed. She takes care of her own... as long as they don't disappoint or oppose her for she can be quite cruel with her punishments.

Being sire-less due to having murdered her maker by her own hand Andromeda responds to no one but she does act as a queen/ mother figure for the vampires of her bloodline. The vampires that are closer to her are the ones she first turned and them make some kind of council with whom she shares her plans. Those vampires have their own bloodlines by now but they all respond and are absolutely loyal to their maker.

Gandrell de Lyonval was a victim of Andromeda's whims. She does not often turn people on impulse, but he was an exception. He was the lead actor in a theatre performance she came to watch and she decided it was necessary to preserve his beauty, to not let it be corrupted by time. So once the play was over she purchased some extra services from him, seduced him and fed from him, only to once she was satisfied, turn him.

She did not keep him though. In her cruelty she decided to abandon him, to leave him to fend for himself. She was always aware of the amount of suffering it would bring him. She found the thought entertaining. He was a work of art in her eyes, a marvel she created for the world to enjoy like an artist creates a masterpiece. An art piece forged in lust, blood and cruelty.

Little did she know her vampire child would survive and grow his power, becoming a real threat to the world-wide vampire hierarchy and herself.
