Darian Blackmore

✟ Loyal: Darian is completely loyal to his God and to the Order of the Vera Crux. Loyalty is something he truly values.

✟ Strong faith: Darian believes God has a plan even if he doesn't know how it will exactly play out. He might stray from his path at times but his faith always gives him comfort and his trust in his God is absolute.

✟ Honesty: He doesn't like to lie, it feels like a sin. He might hide painful truths at times but usually he's honest with people.

✟ Protective: He will put his life on the line for those he's sworn to protect, for the innocent and specially of course for the people he loves.

✟ Brave: Even if he might act like he isn't scared of anything there are lots of things that scare Darian. He's managed with time to use that fear and overcome it in each of his fights.

✟ Great capacity to concentrate: If he finds something of interest or a task he must complete he will immerse into it until it's done or solved. His concentration is hard to break, though the downside of this is that he might very well ignore absolutely everything else.

✟ Capacity to notice patters rather quickly: Be it in movements, behaviors, images…

✟ Very close minded: Darian has his own values and thoughts about the world and anything that goes against that is wrong. He won't likely listen or attend to reasons...

✟ Temper problems: Sometimes Darian just snaps at people for little things. He's usually patient around regular humans, but familiarity breeds contempt, the closer he is to someone the more likely he is to let go of decorum.

✟ Prone to violence: Self explanatory. His anger issues combined with his deep hatred for the supernatural make him keen to attacking ""monsters"" just for what they are. Good (or not so good) thing is he doesn't care the race. If they aren't human they're evil.

✟ Obsessed with work: Darian believes he is on Earth to complete a sacred mission- Cleanse the Earth from the monsters that roam it and his entire life is focused on it. It is very hard to get him to stop or take a break from his work. He can get so obsessed in tracking creatures , researching or planning attacks that he might forget to eat or spend days without a proper sleep.

✟ Apathetic and cruel: With those that are NOT human. He won't show mercy and will not shed a tear at the death of a supernatural.

✟ Innocent humans: He'd probably do anything to help them even if it means risking his own life. He enjoys the company of those that see the world through innocent eyes for they give him hope. Those will inherit the kingdom of God.

✟ Problems to deal with feelings: Due to events in his past Darian doesn't handle well pain and sadness. They make him feel weak so he interiorizes him until he just explodes.

✟ Mild addiction to ink: He has tattoos all over his body and will probably be getting more in the future. He just can't help himself.

✟ Recurrence to smoking and alcohol when things go wrong.

The concept of a family:

- Mother: Asaliah Blackmore (deceased)
- Father: Matthias Blackmore (deceased)
- Twin sister: Ella Blackmore (alive)

Darian lost his family when he was six years old. His parents were killed by demons and everything he has left is his twin sister Ella. She means the world to him and he'd do anything to protect her. He also feels in debt to her, for she had to protect him when they were little back in the day when their parents were murdered and he doesn't seem to be capable to let go of that "debt" that only exists in his mind.

It will be extremely hard for Darian to consider anybody else as family, not because it's too hard to earn his trust but because of his difficult personality. Not many people want to stick around after their first encounter with him, even if he'd usually kind to humans.


Friendships:

Darian isn't the kind to actively look for "friendships". He has only had one close friend in his life during his teenage years but he pretty much prefers to be, and work, alone. For most of his life his 'best friend' was actually his twin sister Ella. She was the only kid his age he knew for most of his childhood.

While he isn’t a very social person , one can easily get along with him if one, they are human; two, they can put up with him when he’s in a bad mood (which is far easier said than done); and three, they have something about them that catches his interest. This is usually beauty, wits or even a certain kind of attitude be it towards him or life in general. Innocent people, people with pure and good hearts are the ones whose chances of becoming a friend of Darian's is bigger. He finds that those people are closer to God wither they are believers or not and usually enjoys their company.


Enemies:

Being a supernatural creature, while in most cases isn't really a choice people can take, automatically will put them in Darian's shit list. He despises the supernaturals so much that he feels no guilt when attacking or even killing them, and he has found out that he actually enjoys making them suffer and specially seeing the fear in their eyes.

Darian is not a very social person which makes him often appear cold or even numb to others and this is a feature that is rather easy to find annoying, specially when someone is trying to get an emotional reaction out of him and is met with apathy or given the cold shoulder. While usually kind to humans Darian has already at least one human ‘enemy’, a man he can barely stand and people that don’t seem to know their place tend to annoy him more than anything.

But truth be told, it is hard to know if something is going to upset or bother him or if he’ll just ignore it, it basically depends on his mood.
