Appearance:
Six foot, five, stoic look on his face, muscles capable ripping the very clothes he is wearing, and scars that tell of an abusive past. Powerfully built and absolutely intimidating at first sight. When he lived in the time of the Vikings all the way to the 1700s, he wore his hair, dirty blonde hair long, hanging to his shoulders. A strong brow allowed him to expressive himself more through facial reactions than in verbal form. His soft stormy violet-colored eyes missed nothing as he is always scanning his surroundings. In the present time, he prefers a shorter cut of his hair, shaving the sides and letting it grow out on top before hacking it off again.
Personality:
Visually, Meph is one of the most terrifying people you will ever see. Once you get to know him, though, you will soon discover the softer side of him - a teddy bear hidden within the brute. Though silent and reserved he does have a darker side that tends to follow and haunt him, no matter how much he has tried to accept and move on from his past it doesn't want to let him go. Fascinatingly articulate, and shockingly intelligent. If people are brave enough to engage with him, they are met with one of the softest, kindest and most generous souls a person could ever hope to meet. Although getting him to speak is quite difficult, the words he does speak are deep, thought-out, and very often, thoughtful to whomever gets him to break his silence.
Skills:
Having been alive on and off from the time of the Vikings, he has picked up a variety of skills. He retains his memories from each of his lives and is able to recall and use that knowledge in his current life. He is proficient in scouting, tracking, hunting, and a million different ways to kill. His learned abilities combined with the way he carries himself makes him extremely intimidating. In his present live he has learned read, write, cook, clean, drive, handle money, and laugh. He speaks six different languages that he has picked up over the centuries. He was not formally educated until he was an adult and decided he wanted to attend the Fire Academy. He swiftly obtained all the retained degrees from early education through high school and applied for the Fire Academy. He was accepted and finished in the top of his class becoming a Hot Shot firefighter and Paramedic. With his gentle touch, kind personality, and soft-spoken voice, he is able to keep people calm in the times of crisis. The question really, is what can’t Meph do?
Education:
Meph is incredibly intelligent, both in survival skills and books. He was informally educated under the tutelage of his father, and mentor Gandrell de Lioncourt. Gandrell homeschooled Meph due to not finding him until he was nineteen years old in a cage. Gandrell knew there was no way he could send an adult Meph to any kind of actual school. So, he kept Meph home and taught him far more than he would ever have learned with a formal 
education. Gandrell did use a certified lesson plan but added so much more to it. Meph learned about classical literature and art from a vampire who had lived through it. Meph excelled and gained all the required certificates that he needed for him to graduate from high school and went on to attend the New Orleans Fire Academy. He studied and worked hard and achieved the honor of be coming a Hot Shot firefighter and Paramedic. One can quite often find Meph with a book in his hands or attempting to learn something new. It can also be noted that his brain is akin to a sponge, absorbing everything he sees and hears.
Lover:
Love is a relatively new concept to Meph. In his lives as a Viking, a knight in the Dark Ages, and a Cherokee Indian, love had not been something obtainable for him. He had been a warrior, a killer, a berserker. He was no one important or famous, until he died that is. Only after his deaths was he ever celebrated. While alive, he was feared and avoided. He lived mostly solitary lives or lives that comprised of only being surrounded by other men. It wasn't until this current life that love was even explained to him. Though severely damaged emotionally, he is interested in love and is undergoing psychotherapy to try and help him be able to emotionally handle a relationship.
Psychological Status:
Damaged. Constantly on guard. Feeling of inferiority despite his physical power and dominating alpha personality. Mentally and emotionally stunted at the age of a nine-year-old. Trauma and abuse prevented his mind and heart from maturing naturally as his body did. It wasn't until a vampire rescued him from his hellish existence and started to rebuild his mind and spirit, while helping him condition his body. As of the present day, Meph, for the first time in his one thousand years of life, is a whole person. He is capable of living independently. He is holding down a job he enjoys. He is painfully shy and has trouble finding the courage to speak in groups of people. He still has an inferiority complex. And he is working on interpersonal relationships.
Recently, Gandrell started Meph on music therapy, allowing him to express himself through songs. Meph has been combing through Gandrell's extensive music collection and came across Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven. It spoke to him, bringing him to tears as he realized he would never be welcomed into heaven for all he has done in his existence. When he dies, he goes to Valhalla, and it won't be until someone who loves him mourns his death that he will be released to go beyond. He fears if ever gets to heaven he will be faced with the thousands he has killed.

Biography
- Peyton Parrish - For Honor
Meph was born Karr (meaning Strength in the Norwegian tongue). When he was five years old he was kidnapped by a warlord and tossed into a cage. He was taught to kill ruthlessly and without regard. Meph grew into a monster of a man and was a killing machine on the battlefield.
Killing was easy and he never flinched away from it, no matter who his axe fell upon. The conundrum in this was that Meph hated killing and despised himself for each life he took. While other warriors prayed for glory, Meph prayed for death. A death it took almost twenty years of Hell to gain. He fell on the battlefield, victim of his warlord's arrogance. The Valkyrie claimed his soul and he was ushered into the Hall of Kings in Valhalla.
The Gods in Valhalla gave Meph another chance at life to see if their theories on a human soul is true; a twisted experiment they were eager to see.
The catch: Meph would be born as a baby, into the same body each time. The re-born body would carry the scars from his previous
life, while his mind retained all the memories. The experiment is to see if remembering one's past sins would change the course of the next life. Sadly for Meph the fates are just as cruel as the Gods.
Meph is now in his fourth life on Earth. He still carries all of his scars - a tapestry of abuse. Retains all of his memories from the last three lives. Though, through it all, still has a gentleness about him.
