A man with an air of debonair in the tilt of his jaw and suave elegance in the onyx black of his business attire. A monster with the tongue of an angel and the bite of a devil; his smile drawing attention to wicked teeth. The curtain of lustrous dark hair falling around the burning depths of his ruby gaze only add to his allure. While those twin embers of hell illuminate with a depth of hatred and madness.
Personality: A charismatic creature of the night who's strong passions and beliefs often have in acting contrary to mainstream society. He has a great deal of magnetism and allure that is often used to achieve social, political, and even romantic dominance. He has an intense drive and determination to live out his philosophy, and with his charisma and strength will earn the loyalties of weaker personalities with promises of justice.

Everyone knows the story of a Dracula. It's been retold, and rehashed so many times that it's original history has become deluded and certain details forgotten over the decades. This is a retelling of the man who looked to the heavens for guidance and found only his sword dripping with the blood of the innocent. This is the story of how a man becomes a monster when he wanders too far from god's flock, and how very far one may fall from humanity. Watch him find redemption in the shadows and firmly decree that he bends not to the fate of any religion, but survives with his own strength. Will you care to watch the most damned of all human kind dare to save the world from itself?

The Dragon of Blood and the Prince of Darkness. All of these names for the man who would become Dracula.
He was once hailed to the people of Translyvania and Walachia as a savior. The Vatican itself once named him a warrior of the cross and dispatched him to cull the nightmares from their shadows. He was born to war. He bathed in it. He breathed in it's putrid air and lived upon the field of battle. As if it were his birthright. Yet he earned nothing by birth but a name. It was his ruthless skill alone that forged his future.
Where is blade fell, the blood of Turk's would water the earth. He made bold statements impaling his victories and striking fear into the hearts of his enemies. He wasn't human, they said. A monster, others whispered. No man of the cloth could behave in such a manner.
They say he abandoned all mortality and sold his soul to the devil. The truth is much more chilling. The death of his mortal wife was the blow that would tear away all humanity left in him. The sweet flower that dared to give the light of her love to a monster. The Vatican denounced her grace of eternal rest for the manner of her death, and he would denounce the creed that damned her. With his salvation was ripped from the world by deceit and lies he fell into a bitter loathing against the heavens themselves. He bathed in her blood and then became the madness he had once raised his sword against.
It did not take long until his war waged against the princes of hell, ended with him taking their thrones-- and their powers.
He, however, knew not that his wife bore him a son while he was parted from her on his campaign. A son that was taken by the Vatican and placed into the care of the Templars. A son who's mind was filled with lies and strung like a puppet with false notions. The boy grew to become a man. That man marched on the undead king's reign of terror with the belief that Dracula himself had murdered his family.
The man had no idea that Dracula was truly his father, and it did not come to light until after the final blow had been struck. It was only as Eran laid bleeding over the stones of his throne that Dracula was made privy to knowledge Eran had foolishly spent his life trying to avenge the parents he never knew.
Dracula became stricken with grief at the knowledge that he had mortally wounded the flesh and blood of his departed wife. In his sorrow he made the decision to father Eran into the night as his son a second time. Eran would become the beginning of the first generation of Vampires turned by his father.
Eran would never forgive Dracula for his transgressions against him, and still to this day refuses to acknowledge the man as anything more then a monster.
In the eons to come Dracula's rule over the world slowly crumbled away to myth and lore. He pulled back from the civilized world and like many other supernatural forces decided upon shrouding the true existence of his kind from mortal eyes. In his older years his rage cooled with bitterness, and his hatred to indifference. The monster took the guise of a man, and Dracula became Gabriel Lucard. A form that might allow him to walk among mortals and observe the world.
It would be a place where he could directly help orchestrate the survival of his kind when humanity learned of the creatures lurking in it's darkness. -
