Feywild has numerous amount of entry points. Most of them ever changing and moving and unseen to the naked eye or magical eye even. It can be sudden and unpredictable if you make it back alive in your original plane. Although there are other unique portals, the ones that are rare in nature are anomaly portals. Which remain persistent throughout both realms and are clearly visible between both realms.

  • imageedit_1_3025215848.pngThe Feywild, also known as the Plane of Faerie, is an otherworldly realm that exists parallel to the Material Plane. It is a place of immense natural beauty, where magic flows freely, and the boundaries of reality are fluid and malleable. The Feywild is a realm steeped in enchantment, inhabited by faeries, fey creatures, and other mystical beings. It is a realm where dreams come to life and the forces of nature dance in whimsical harmony.

One of the defining features of the Feywild is its vibrant and ever-changing landscape. It is a place where the seasons shift with capriciousness, and time seems to have a will of its own. Enchanted forests filled with ancient, towering trees bathed in ethereal light stretch as far as the eye can see. These forests are alive with magic, with trees that whisper secrets, sentient flowers that sing melodies, and streams that shimmer with iridescent colors. Meadows of wildflowers in breathtaking hues carpet the land, and crystal-clear lakes reflect the starry night sky even during the day.

In the Feywild, magic permeates every aspect of existence. It flows through the air, seeps into the ground, and sparkles in the sunlight. Fey creatures, such as mischievous pixies, graceful nymphs, and majestic unicorns, are at home in this realm, their very beings resonating with the magic that surrounds them. The manipulation of magic comes as naturally to them as breathing, and they wield it to shape the world around them, casting spells and enchantments with ease.

Chaos and unpredictability are intrinsic to the Feywild. Reality is ever-shifting, and the laws of nature are more like guidelines that can be bent or broken. Paths can lead to unexpected destinations, and time can warp and twist, causing minutes to stretch into hours or a single night to span an eternity. The realm is alive with riddles and illusions, and one must navigate its twists and turns with a keen mind and a discerning eye.

While the Feywild is a place of wonder and beauty, it is not without its dangers. It is a realm where the line between friend and foe can blur, and intentions can change on a whim. Powerful fey beings, with their intricate webs of alliances and rivalries, hold court in magnificent palaces hidden deep within enchanted groves. These courts, each aligned with a different aspect of the natural world, vie for power and influence, weaving intricate schemes and engaging in elaborate dances of politics and intrigue.

Mortal visitors to the Feywild must tread carefully, as they are seen as both fascinating curiosities and potential pawns in the fey creatures' games. Time can pass differently in the Feywild, and those who venture into this realm may find that what felt like a brief sojourn has resulted in years passing in the Material Plane upon their return. Mortals must navigate the realm's trials and tribulations, navigate its whimsical landscapes, and negotiate with the enigmatic fey denizens to achieve their goals.

Overall, the Feywild is a realm of enchantment, where magic intertwines with the very fabric of reality. It is a place of both breathtaking beauty and treacherous unpredictability, where the mundane is transformed into the extraordinary, and dreams and nightmares become tangible. Within this realm, the Daegni race finds their home, their crystal-adorned bodies and magical abilities resonating harmoniously with the essence of the Feywild. I want this to moveDone by Ketka on DA

    History of Origin

In the ancient annals of creation, the origins of the Feywild can be traced back to a cataclysmic clash between the godlike beings known as the Primordials and the pantheon of gods. These Primordials were immense entities born from the roiling chaos of the Elemental Chaos, embodying the raw and untamed forces of the universe. Their nature was one of chaos, disruption, and an insatiable desire to sow discord throughout the cosmos.

As the Primordials reveled in the chaos they wrought, conflicts erupted on a scale that surpassed mortal comprehension. These epic battles between gods and Primordials shook the very foundations of existence and led to the deaths or banishment of many godlike elemental beings. The universe bore the scars of these monumental clashes, forever altered by the primordial strife.

In their insidious quest to disrupt and dismantle the ordered realms, the Primordials enacted a grand plan to reshape the Material Plane. They sought to eliminate the excesses of light and darkness that pervaded the realm, deeming them incompatible with their vision of eternal chaos. The Primordials, with their unfathomable power, reached into the very fabric of reality, tearing asunder parts of the Material Plane deemed too bright or too gloomy.

From the radiant fragments of the sundered Material Plane, the Primordials birthed a new realm known as the Feywild. This realm became a haven of vibrant, otherworldly beauty, suffused with wild magic and infused with the essence of the elemental forces. It became a realm where dreams took shape, where magic thrived, and where the unpredictable whims of the Fey ruled supreme. The Feywild became a mirror reflection of the Material Plane, albeit one that exuded an untamed and whimsical essence.

Simultaneously, from the darkened remnants of the shattered Material Plane, the Primordials forged the Shadowfell. This gloomy and haunting realm became a twisted reflection of the Material Plane's darker aspects, a place of shadows, secrets, and lingering despair. It became a realm where the forces of death and decay held sway, and where the veil between the living and the dead grew thin. The Shadowfell became a realm of eternal twilight, where the whispers of lost souls echoed through the shadowed valleys.

Thus, the Feywild and the Shadowfell were born, inextricably linked to the cosmic battles waged by the Primordials and the gods. These two realms became the dual manifestations of the Primordials' desire to strip the Material Plane of its extremes, leaving behind a more balanced and subdued realm. They serve as potent reminders of the cosmic struggle that unfolded, testaments to the raw power and unfettered chaos of the Primordials.

In the present day, the Feywild stands as a realm of enchantment and unpredictable wonder, a place where the laws of nature bend and the whims of the Fey shape reality. It is a realm sought after by adventurers, scholars, and those who dare to seek the mysteries hidden within its magical depths. The Shadowfell, on the other hand, holds a more foreboding allure, drawing those who seek forbidden knowledge, power over life and death, or the solace of eternal twilight.

The creation of the Feywild and the Shadowfell stands as a testament to the immense power and intentions of the Primordials. While they were eventually overcome and usurped by the gods, their legacy lives on in these otherworldly realms, forever entwined with the tapestry of existence. The Feywild and the Shadowfell stand as stark reminders of the primordial struggle for chaos, balance, and the eternal dance between light and darkness.

    Prime Material Plane (Your Realm)

Both the Feywild and the Shadowfell, as realms derived from the Material Plane, share a fascinating connection with their progenitor while exhibiting distinct characteristics that set them apart. The Feywild, in particular, bears a resemblance to the geographical locations found within the Material Plane, albeit with significant variations that give it a captivating allure.

While the Feywild echoes the landscapes of the Material Plane, it takes these features to extraordinary and enchanting extremes. In the Feywild, natural formations and features that exist within the Material Plane are magnified and intensified, captivating the senses with their vibrant and ethereal beauty. Rolling hills become majestic, towering peaks; tranquil lakes transform into shimmering pools of iridescent colors; dense forests grow into lush, enchanted groves, alive with the whispers of the Fey. The Feywild teems with life, its flora, and fauna more vivid and fantastical than their Material Plane counterparts.

One of the key factors that contribute to the mesmerizing allure of the Feywild is its origin from the excess light of the Material Plane. This luminosity permeates the entire realm, suffusing its landscape with radiant brilliance. The Feywild bathes in perpetual, magical twilight, casting an ethereal glow over its every facet. This pervasive brightness lends an otherworldly quality to the Feywild's similar landscapes, accentuating their dramatic and captivating nature.

In the Feywild, the boundaries between wilderness and civilization are blurred. Unlike the Material Plane, where areas of human or humanoid settlement are prevalent, the Feywild's sprawling flora and untamed beauty often obscure signs of civilization. Vast and verdant forests dominate the landscape, their dense foliage concealing the presence of cities, towns, and other signs of habitation. Structures that do exist within the Feywild are often intricately woven into the natural surroundings, harmonizing with the enchanted realm rather than imposing upon it.

Moreover, the Feywild is a realm of constant change and unpredictability. Seasons can shift within the blink of an eye, transforming landscapes from vibrant spring to scorching summer or from lush autumn to frigid winter. Time flows differently within the Feywild, and a traveler may find themselves spending what feels like days or weeks only to return to the Material Plane to discover that years have passed. This ever-changing nature of the Feywild adds to its mystique, infusing every corner of the realm with an air of magic and wonder.

In summary, the Feywild echoes the geographical features of the Material Plane, but with an intensified, captivating twist. It is a realm where nature's beauty is magnified, where vibrant landscapes and sprawling forests hold sway, and where the bright luminosity of the Material Plane is transformed into an ethereal, enchanting glow. The Feywild's allure lies in its vibrant and dramatic depiction of the familiar, drawing adventurers into a realm of magic, whimsy, and untamed wonder.

    Feywild Magic Environment
    imageedit_3_8476019187.png

Within the Feywild, the very essence of magic is unshackled, flowing freely and unencumbered by the constraints of the Material Plane. It is a realm where arcane energy surges, vibrant and potent, infusing every aspect of the environment. This untamed magic renders the Feywild a place of unparalleled mystical power and tangible enchantment.

The accessibility and potency of magic in the Feywild far surpasses that of the Material Plane. Here, arcane energies are more readily tapped into and manipulated, allowing its inhabitants to wield spells with greater ease and proficiency. Casting magic feels effortless as if the weave of arcane energy responds eagerly to the call of spellcasters. The raw power available within the Feywild enhances the effects of spells, granting them heightened potency or prolonged duration.

The profound influence of magic within the Feywild is not limited to its inhabitants alone. The very fabric of the realm itself is suffused with arcane energy. The land, flora, and fauna are imbued with magical properties, giving rise to wondrous and extraordinary phenomena. Enchanted flowers bloom in resplendent hues, their petals exuding mesmerizing scents that can intoxicate or invigorate. Trees hum with latent magical power, their leaves shimmering with iridescent light. Even the air crackles with vibrant energy, carrying the echoes of ancient incantations and the whispers of the Fey.

However, the wild and potent magic of the Feywild comes with its own set of consequences. While the plane grants numerous benefits and opportunities, it also carries inherent risks and challenges. For those hailing from the more mundane Material Plane, the intensity of the Feywild's magical influence can be overwhelming. Senses become heightened, emotions are magnified, and the boundary between reason and passion blurs. Joy and elation may surge to ecstatic heights, but sorrow and despair can plunge one into deep darkness.

The raw, unfiltered magic of the Feywild can lead to unforeseen consequences as well. Spells cast with even the slightest imbalance or lack of control can have unpredictable outcomes. The realm's volatile magic can manifest as unpredictable anomalies, such as sudden bursts of magical energy, spontaneous transformations, or the creation of temporary portals to other planes. It is a realm where caution and control are paramount, as even the most skilled practitioners of magic must contend with the capricious nature of the Feywild's arcane energies.

While the Feywild's magic opens the door to extraordinary possibilities and heightened abilities, it is a double-edged sword. It demands a delicate balance between harnessing its power and resisting the temptations that lurk within its depths. The unwary may find themselves consumed by overwhelming emotions or drawn toward the darker aspects of their own nature.

In summary, the Feywild is a realm where magic is unbound and exhilarating, a stark contrast to the regulated nature of the Material Plane. Its untamed arcane energy infuses every facet of the realm, granting its inhabitants unparalleled access to powerful spells and imbuing the land with mystical wonders. However, this wild magic carries both blessings and risks, heightening emotions and exposing individuals to unforeseen challenges. To navigate the Feywild is to dance on the razor's edge of magic, balancing its potential with the need for restraint and self-control.

    imageedit_5_7692513057.png

There are no leylines of magic, the entire realm is magic. This is why Daegni struggles at times to cast spells as well in the Prime Material Plane. As they are unused to drawing on leylines.

The flora of the Feywild is a breathtaking testament to the plane's enchanting nature, showcasing a rich tapestry of vibrant colors, surreal shapes, and magical properties. Every plant in the Feywild is touched by the potent wild magic that permeates the realm, resulting in extraordinary botanical specimens that defy the imagination.

One of the most common sights in the Feywild is the luminous Faerelilies. These delicate flowers bloom in an array of mesmerizing hues, ranging from radiant blues and purples to shimmering golds and pinks. Their petals are translucent and seem to glow from within, emanating a soft, ethereal light that illuminates the surrounding areas. Faerelilies possess a mesmerizing fragrance that enchants those who inhale it, evoking feelings of joy, tranquility, or even vivid memories of distant lands.

The Whispering Vines, as their name suggests, are an extraordinary species that seems to possess a gentle and sentient nature. These slender, sinuous vines wind their way through the Feywild's forests, emitting a low, melodic hum as they sway in the ethereal breeze. Their leaves are shaped like delicate chimes, and when touched or caressed, they produce a soft tinkling sound that resonates throughout the area. The Whispering Vines are often sought after by fey creatures for their calming and harmonizing properties, and it is said that those who rest beneath their embrace experience vivid dreams and deep rejuvenation.

In the heart of the Feywild's glades, one can find the Majestic Everblossoms. These towering trees stand as living testaments to the plane's boundless magic. Their trunks are adorned with intricate patterns, resembling intricate latticework etched with glowing symbols that change with the passage of time. The leaves of the Majestic Everblossoms shimmer like precious gemstones, each one reflecting the colors of the Feywild's ambient light. These trees possess the ability to alter their appearance, shifting their foliage to match the seasons or the emotions of those nearby. It is not uncommon to witness these trees bursting into a riot of vibrant colors, mimicking the hues of a sunset or mirroring the moods of the fey inhabitants.

Deep within secluded groves, the Enchanter's Ferns thrive, their fronds cascading like emerald waterfalls. Each leaf of these ferns bears intricate patterns that seem to pulse and shift with a life of their own. These patterns are not merely decorative but carry enchantments of protection, warding off malevolent forces and granting safe passage to those who honor their presence. The Enchanter's Ferns are highly sought after by herbalists and enchanters for their potent magical properties, capable of enhancing spellcasting or bestowing temporary immunity to certain magical effects.

Nestled in hidden corners and shaded glens, the Dreamblossoms bloom under the silver moonlight. These exquisite flowers have petals that resemble delicate, translucent veils, constantly shifting in shape and color. They emit a sweet, intoxicating fragrance that evokes vivid dreams and visions when inhaled. The Dreamblossoms are believed to be gateways to the realm of dreams, capable of providing glimpses into the future or unraveling hidden truths. Many seekers of knowledge and seers of destiny make pilgrimages to these blossoms, hoping to unlock the secrets that lie within their ephemeral beauty.

These examples merely scratch the surface of the wondrous flora that thrives in the Feywild. From luminescent mushrooms that guide lost wanderers to towering trees with leaves that sing in harmony, the Feywild's flora is a symphony of magical enchantment. Each plant holds its own unique properties, imbued with wild magic and capable of captivating the senses and inspiring awe in all who venture into this mystical realm.

Hours may feel like minutes or days, making it challenging to plan or coordinate actions effectively.

Vulnerability to manipulation: The illusions of the Feywild can weaken one's mental defenses and make them more susceptible to manipulation. Fey creatures, in particular, may use these hallucinations to deceive, mislead, or control unsuspecting travelers, leading them into dangerous situations or false alliances.

Lingering effects: Even after leaving the Feywild, the hallucinations can leave a lasting impact. Memories of illusions may haunt individuals, causing them to question their own perception of reality or triggering unexpected emotional responses. Some individuals may develop a fascination or obsession with the Feywild, yearning to return to its enchanting embrace.

It is important to note that the effects of the hallucinations can vary greatly depending on the individual and their resilience, magical abilities, and prior experiences. Some may be more adept at distinguishing truth from illusion or have learned to shield themselves from the deceptive nature of the Feywild. Others may be more vulnerable to its effects, succumbing to the temptations or becoming lost in the fantastical visions.

Within the enigmatic realm of the Feywild, where magic runs rampant and reality intertwines with whimsy, one must tread cautiously, for the boundaries between illusion and truth can blur and twist. Hallucinations, born from the potent magic that saturates the realm, are a common phenomenon experienced by those who find themselves immersed in its unpredictable embrace.

The hallucinations that manifest within the Feywild are a direct result of the realm's untamed arcane energy and the potent influence of the Fey. They can take on various forms and intensities, affecting all the senses and often challenging the perception of what is real. These hallucinations are not mere illusions but rather glimpses into the ever-shifting nature of the Feywild itself, where reality bends to the will of capricious magic.

Visual hallucinations are perhaps the most common and striking. They can range from subtle distortions of the surrounding environment to vivid and fantastical apparitions. A traveler may witness flowers blooming in mesmerizing patterns that defy logic, trees that seemingly dance with joy, or ethereal creatures flitting through the air. The landscapes themselves may shift and transform, with hills elongating, forests growing denser, or entire cities materializing and fading away in the blink of an eye.

Auditory hallucinations add another layer of mystique to the Feywild's illusions. Melodies may waft through the air, captivating the listener with their enchanting beauty, only to fade into the wind without a trace. Whispers, both enchanting and disquieting, may carry on the breeze, hinting at secrets or luring wanderers off the beaten path. The very air seems to hum with an otherworldly chorus of voices, teasing the senses and inviting exploration.

Tactile hallucinations, though less common, can also occur within the Feywild. The touch of a gentle breeze may feel like a caress from unseen hands, or the ground beneath one's feet may seem to ripple and shift as if alive. Temperature can fluctuate drastically, with sensations of icy cold or scorching heat experienced without any discernible cause. These tactile illusions serve to remind travelers that even the most basic sensations cannot be taken for granted in this realm of wonder and bewilderment.

Hallucinations within the Feywild are not limited to the senses alone. They can also deeply affect emotions and perceptions. Intense feelings of joy and euphoria may wash over individuals, imbuing their every step with a sense of wonder and delight. Conversely, melancholy and sorrow can grip the heart with overwhelming intensity, leaving one lost in a sea of emotional turmoil. These emotional hallucinations can distort judgment, making it challenging to differentiate between genuine emotions and the illusory influence of the Feywild.

It is worth noting that the hallucinations in the Feywild are not always random or haphazard. They can be influenced by the intentions of the Fey themselves, mischievous beings who delight in toying with mortals. Fey creatures may use their magical prowess to create elaborate illusions, leading unsuspecting wanderers astray or ensnaring them within intricate dreams. These illusions may serve as tests of character, challenges to overcome, or simply whimsical pranks played upon unwary travelers.
Navigating the hallucinatory landscapes of the Feywild requires a keen mind, a strong sense of self, and a healthy dose of skepticism. It is a realm where reality bends and twists, where the line between truth and illusion blurs. Travelers must remain vigilant, relying on their instincts and the counsel of allies to discern the true nature of their surroundings and avoid falling prey to the mesmerizing deceptions that lie in wait.

In summary, the Feywild is a realm where hallucinations are a common occurrence, born from the potent magic and whimsical nature of the Fey. Visual, auditory, tactile, and emotional illusions twist perceptions and challenge the notion of what is real. Travelers must stay vigilant, for these illusions can lead them astray or ensnare them in the enchanting web of the Feywild's illusions. Navigating this realm of wonder requires a discerning mind and a steadfast heart. They can cause disorientation, alter perceptions, evoke intense emotions, tempt individuals with alluring illusions, distort time perception, make individuals susceptible to manipulation, and leave lasting effects on the psyche. Navigating the realm requires resilience, self-awareness, and a strong grasp of reality amidst ever-shifting illusions.

    Enchantments

    imageedit_13_6942822379.png

Within the Feywild, a realm of enchantment and magic, various types of protecting enchantments exist to safeguard its secrets and ensure the balance of its delicate ecosystem. These enchantments serve to protect the realm from external threats and maintain the mystical harmony that defines the Feywild.

Veil of Trickery: The Feywild is consistently shifting its entry points. Not only does this make it disconcerting and impossible to locate a familiar entry point for most realms, but it also can cause one to be trapped in Feywild Realm without realizing it till it's too late to turn back and find the portal that brought them in.

Warding Runes: Ancient runes are etched into the trees, stones, and structures of the Feywild, forming a network of protective wards. These runes enhance the natural barriers of the realm, preventing malicious entities from trespassing or causing harm in certain areas of Feywild realm. They can detect and repel dark forces, ensuring that only those with pure intentions can enter.

Glamour Veils: Glamour veils are illusions woven into the fabric of the Feywild, creating an ever-shifting tapestry of fantastical landscapes. These illusions serve as a protective measure, confusing and disorienting potential invaders or unwelcome visitors. They create illusions of impassable obstacles or misleading pathways, deterring intruders and preserving the realm's sanctity.

Guardian Spirits: The Feywild is inhabited by benevolent guardian spirits, ethereal beings who embody the essence of the realm itself. These spirits act as protectors, patrolling its borders and sacred sites, warding off malevolent forces. They are attuned to the natural rhythms of the Feywild and act as guardians of its delicate balance, intervening when necessary to preserve its harmony.

Time Distortions: The passage of time within the Feywild is often distorted, with moments stretching or compressing in unpredictable ways. This enchantment serves as a protective measure, making it challenging for outsiders to navigate the realm or launch coordinated attacks. Time distortions can disorient and frustrate intruders, ensuring that they struggle to maintain a foothold within the realm.

Elemental Barriers: The Feywild harnesses the power of the elements to safeguard its borders and sacred places. Elemental barriers, such as walls of thorns, cascading waterfalls, or raging firestorms, can materialize spontaneously to repel threats. These barriers are not only physical obstacles but also embody the raw elemental forces of nature, making them formidable deterrents.

Echoing Whispers: The Feywild is a realm of whispers and echoes, where the voices of the land carry hidden warnings and secrets. This enchantment allows the realm itself to communicate with its inhabitants, alerting them to potential dangers and guiding them away from harm. The echoes can also confuse and disorient intruders, making it difficult for them to find their way or understand the true nature of the realm.

These protecting enchantments, among others, weave together to safeguard the Feywild and its treasures. They create a realm of wonder and mystique, where those who enter must navigate the intricate web of magic and overcome the challenges presented by its protective enchantments.

    Emotional Control Dampened

    imageedit_15_4037566698.png
Within the captivating and ever-shifting realm of the Feywild, the influence of emotions is magnified to an extraordinary degree. The wild magic that permeates the plane responds keenly to the powerful sentiments of its inhabitants, granting emotions a tangible impact on the environment. The Feywild's landscape and weather are subject to dramatic transformations, reflecting the prevailing or extreme emotions present in a given region.

Emotions such as joy, ecstasy, and bliss can infuse the Feywild with an aura of enchantment and harmony. In these areas, the landscape blossoms with vibrant flora, effervescent streams meander through lush meadows, and delicate sunlight dances among the trees. The weather is often characterized by gentle breezes, warm rains, and rainbows that seem to linger in the sky. These euphoric realms are akin to peaceful utopias, where tranquility and beauty reign supreme.

Conversely, the depths of misery, sorrow, and despair can cast a dark shadow upon the Feywild. In regions suffused with agony, the once-vibrant landscape becomes twisted and foreboding. Sinister brambles and thorny thickets entangle the land, murky swamps ooze with desolation, and thunderstorms rage with unrestrained fury. The very air becomes heavy with a sense of anguish, and the creatures that dwell in such areas mirror the torment and anguish in their appearance and behavior. These desolate wastelands serve as a stark reminder of the capacity for suffering within the Feywild.

The demesnes, specialized areas within the Feywild, are particularly affected by the emotions of formidable entities that dwell within them. These demesnes are attuned to the feelings and moods of these powerful beings, although they may not consciously manipulate the land directly. The demesnes are constantly in flux, shifting and transforming based on the prevailing emotions of their inhabitants. The more potent the being's emotions, the more pronounced and volatile the changes within the demesne.

In a demesne influenced by a joyful and exuberant being, the environment becomes a whimsical wonderland. Crystal-clear lakes transform into sparkling fountains, trees grow with vibrant and luminescent foliage, and gentle zephyrs carry laughter and mirth. Conversely, a demesne associated with a deeply tormented entity may become a treacherous and nightmarish realm. Jagged cliffs and chasms may open up, acidic mists may permeate the air, and eerie cries echo through the darkness.

These demesnes are revered and feared as the most dangerous and unpredictable locations within the Feywild. Adventurers who dare to venture into these realms must navigate not only the physical hazards but also contend with the emotional turmoil that shapes the very fabric of the land. To survive in such treacherous territories, one must possess a keen understanding of the emotions at play, the ability to maintain mental fortitude, and the adaptability to swiftly respond to the ever-changing environment.

In summary, the profound influence of emotions within the Feywild is a testament to the raw power of wild magic. The plane's landscape and weather undergo profound shifts based on prevailing sentiments, ranging from peaceful utopias suffused with joy to desolate wastelands consumed by agony. The demesnes, in particular, are dynamic realms shaped by the emotions of formidable entities, making them the most dangerous and unpredictable locations in the Feywild. Explorers must be prepared to confront the emotional and physical challenges that arise in these ever-changing landscapes.

    Time

In the intricate tapestry of the Feywild, the flow of time defies the conventional rules observed in the Material Plane. Time within the Feywild is capricious, unpredictable, and often perilous, presenting a stark contrast to the steady and linear progression experienced in the mortal realm.

One of the most remarkable aspects of time in the Feywild is its varying rates of passage. While the Feywild may appear to adhere to a normal temporal rhythm, it can actually fluctuate, causing days, weeks, or even centuries to elapse in the Material Plane within the span of a few moments or vice versa. This irregularity poses considerable challenges for those who traverse between these two planes of existence.

For mortal beings who venture into the Feywild, the consequences of its temporal disparities can be dire. When they return to the Material Plane, they may find themselves disoriented by the significant discrepancy in time that has transpired. Days or weeks spent exploring the captivating wonders of the Feywild can translate into months or even years lost in the Material Plane. This lost time can manifest in various forms of suffering, including starvation, exhaustion, and severe physical and mental fatigue.

Moreover, the toll of temporal distortion on mortals is often exacerbated by a curious phenomenon known as "Feywild amnesia." As individuals transition back to the Material Plane, they typically experience a lapse in memory concerning their time spent in the Feywild. The vivid memories and experiences of the Feywild fade like mist, leaving behind fragmented recollections or, in some cases, complete oblivion. Mortals may struggle to piece together their fragmented memories, plagued by a sense of unease and the lingering feeling that something significant has been lost.

However, it is worth noting that individuals of fey descent, such as the Daegni, possess a unique resilience to the temporal effects of the Feywild. Their inherent connection to the realm allows them to better adapt to the erratic flow of time. While they may still experience some disorientation upon returning to the Material Plane, they are less susceptible to the physical and mental tolls suffered by those of purely mortal lineage.

In summary, the passage of time in the Feywild is a perplexing and dangerous aspect of this enigmatic realm. Its irregularity, with the potential for time to move at varying rates, poses challenges and risks for mortal beings who venture into its depths. Lost time can result in physical and mental hardships, while the phenomenon of Feywild amnesia further obscures the memories of those who return to the Material Plane. Only those with fey heritage are able to withstand the temporal distortions with greater resilience.

    Fauna and Inhabitants

    imageedit_17_4122208269.png
Beneath the ethereal beauty and enchanting allure of the Feywild lies a treacherous and perilous realm, making it one of the most dangerous planes. Many are lured into complacency by its wondrous atmosphere, only to meet their untimely demise as they underestimate the perils that lie within. In the Feywild, danger lurks at every corner, and even the most innocent-looking fey or idyllic forest can become harbingers of doom.

The inherent danger of the Feywild stems from its pervasive wild magic, which infuses every aspect of the plane. Even the simplest creatures and seemingly benign locations are imbued with potent arcane energy, capable of unleashing unpredictable and devastating effects. Fey creatures, ranging from mischievous sprites to powerful archfey, are formidable adversaries, far surpassing the capabilities of the most skilled adventurers from the Material Plane. They wield ancient and unpredictable magic, capable of twisting reality and ensnaring unsuspecting intruders in their intricate webs of enchantment.

What further compounds the danger is the ever-changing and indiscernible nature of the Feywild's landscape. The very fabric of the plane is in constant flux, with shifting paths, elusive landmarks, and deceptive illusions that confound even the most adept rangers and trackers. Trails that appear well-trodden and familiar can abruptly lead to treacherous pitfalls, while clearings that exude tranquility may transform into malevolent mazes. Navigating the labyrinthine expanse of the Feywild requires more than just physical prowess; it demands acute intuition, an instinctual understanding of the plane's whims, and a keen sense of survival.

Moreover, the Feywild's untamed wilderness and its denizens possess an innate connection, granting them an intimate understanding of the plane's rhythms and harmonies. Fey creatures and the flora and fauna of the Feywild act as extensions of its wild magic, making it challenging for intruders to discern friend from foe. Seemingly helpful creatures may have hidden agendas, while seemingly innocuous plants and animals can harbor deadly toxins or possess otherworldly abilities.

In the face of such formidable dangers, adventurers who dare to tread into the Feywild must exercise utmost caution and be prepared for the unexpected. Knowledge of fey customs, etiquette, and bargains can prove invaluable, as the fey are notorious for their love of riddles, trickery, and pacts that carry unforeseen consequences. Magical protections and wards against enchantment can provide some respite, but it is ultimately the wit, resourcefulness, and adaptability of the adventurers that will determine their survival.

In summary, the Feywild's captivating beauty and enchanting atmosphere belie its true nature as one of the most dangerous realms in the Dungeons & Dragons multiverse. Its pervasive wild magic infuses every aspect of the realm, rendering even the most seemingly innocuous creatures and locations formidable adversaries. The unpredictable and ever-changing landscape, coupled with the formidable abilities of its inhabitants, demands a level of caution and adaptability that surpasses the challenges of the Material Plane. Only those who approach the Feywild with unwavering vigilance and an understanding of its mysteries can hope to navigate its perils and emerge unscathed.

However, the true magic of the Passionbell lies in its ability to respond to the strong emotions of native sentients from the Prime Material plane. When touched by someone experiencing intense emotions such as love, hate, fear, or any other powerful sentiment, the flower undergoes a remarkable transformation. Instantly, the color and shape of the Passionbell shift dramatically, mirroring the emotional state of the individual who touched it.

The translucent white petals of the Passionbell give way to vibrant hues, vividly reflecting the emotional spectrum. Furthermore, anyone who touches the Passionbell after it has been transformed by emotion will experience a profound connection to that emotion. The individual will feel the same intensity and depth of emotion that initially altered the flower, allowing them to empathize and understand the powerful sentiments that once coursed through the original toucher.

The Unseelie and Gloaming Courts, known for their sinister and mischievous nature, take great delight in scattering these enchanted Passionbells along the darker forest paths of the Feywild. By doing so, they create a twisted trail where mortal prey, filled with fear and terror, unwittingly leave behind a vivid emotional map for the Unseelie Court to follow and revel in their prey's torment.

Once one goes far along enough, they would come across a clearing from the trees where it seems to be less thick if they follow the glimmering pathway. The first thing that was obvious was a tree that sat in front of their view, with edges of it carved out of the side of the tree hosting chairs and a fire pit in certain areas, built to protect from the tree catching on fire wholly. One could hear the sounds of rushing water nearby and should they get close enough, they would notice a nearby pond hosting wildlife and clearly giving them a reprieve from the seasons as well as a refreshing water hole for the creatures that inhabit these lands. If one went the opposite direction, one would notice a cavern barely perceptible amongst the trees. Discovery on the inside would believe it to not be inhabited by anyone creature, evidence of the Daegni coming and carving out their desires here or there seen in patches, clearly the Daegni allowing some of the gems and stones to repopulate in their favored area as well as fauna.

If one continued to follow the glimmering pathway past and around the large tree with several carved-in rooms and some doors, they would find themselves at a strange pathway that ended it all, no doubt giving pause to even the most experienced in Feywild. What seemed to lie before them were two pathways. One on top that they could climb or fly up to, the other on the ground. A slight shimmer might be detected by a sharp eye, a clear sign of enchantment if one was good enough with magic to detect, and would likely halt their ambition further. But if one took that brave step without a token or Daegni guidance, they would find themselves lost forever to the whims of the Feywild and its inhabitants...

Market of Inner Sanctum and Inner Forest

    imageedit_58_2141132627.png

As one steps past the enchantment that protects most Daegni from would-be intruders and unwelcome visitors, they would see that similar pathway, glowing up to a side of steps. If they wandered off into either side of the forest, one would notice that on the left, where they had discovered the tree waterfall and pond was there, but flipped in direction and facing. The oddity of it all may make one suspect that it might be yet another magical entrance. Regardless, it's clear signs of being a watering hole for creatures still there. On the other side, a clear opening of just a field of flowers and tall grasses with a mixture of flora makes one curious if laying down there might be good for a nap. Along the pathway is the market stands, boasting of unique trade and craftsmanship.

The market buzzes with vibrant energy as Daegni merchants showcase their wares in an enchanting display of creativity and commerce. The stalls, crafted from weathered wood or shimmering with a magical aura, are arranged in a labyrinthine pattern throughout the inner forest.

Each booth is a miniature marvel, adorned with intricate carvings and colorful draperies that flutter in the gentle breeze. Some stands seem to blend seamlessly with nature, sprouting from the very trees themselves, while others are adorned with whimsical decorations and sparkling trinkets that catch the eye.

The market is a kaleidoscope of sights and sounds. Fragrant herbs and spices waft through the air, mingling with the scent of freshly baked goods and the aroma of exotic fruits. Vendors' voices intertwine, enticing passersby with their melodious pitches, while the occasional laughter and animated chatter add to the lively atmosphere.

The goods on display are as diverse as the Daegni themselves. Delicate handmade jewelry glimmers with precious gemstones and intricately woven silver threads. Stacks of spell-infused parchments tempt aspiring mages, while exquisite tapestries depict scenes from Feywild folklore. Jars filled with mysterious potions and elixirs exude an aura of mystique, while racks of ornate weaponry catch the eye of skilled warriors.

The market also offers a plethora of culinary delights. Tables groan under the weight of freshly harvested fruits, golden honeycombs, and succulent roasted meats. Bakers present trays of delectable pastries and bread, their tantalizing aromas filling the air. Potions of rejuvenating brews and medicinal herbs can be found for those seeking healing and vitality.

As dusk settles over the market, colorful lanterns and softly glowing orbs illuminate the scene, casting a warm and enchanting glow. The market becomes even more magical as musicians and performers take their places, captivating audiences with their melodic tunes and mesmerizing acts.

Amidst the bustling crowd, traders haggle and bargain, their voices mingling with the laughter and excitement of eager shoppers. The market in the inner sanctum stands as a testament to the Daegni's resourcefulness, creativity, and unwavering spirit of trade and community.

The elite traders, the ones who have been recognized as nobility due to their immense success in trade currently trade in the inner sanctum only while the others trade in the inner forest along the path.

The steps would lead up to a clear sign with glowing symbols carved into the stone for each court in the archway, a stopping point. Also, a clear sign of heavy enchantment is obvious from approaching, making it quite clear that unless you were welcomed by the Daegni or a part of them as a whole, it would be virtually impossible to pass and the consequences...well no one alive has been able to come back and regale.

    Inner Santcum

Besides the market that seemed to encircle the large massive circumference of this entry point when one finished walking up the glimmering steps of stone, there would be noticeably a large massive tree. Carved out from its roots that clearly stuck out on one side at some point, lay a large altar carving both and depicting a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse on either side of it. Clear signs of use of it regularly are seen with an even kind offering from the temple of instruments polished and ready for use.

Behind and off to the left of a tree lays a clear sturdy structure, first-ever seen since the entryway. It stands to be a proud short yet wide hovel, with a clear sign of being some sort of holy entryway by the carvings of once more being of a Solar and Lunar eclipse. Although it looks short one might suspect some trickery might inlay if one can be attuned enough to the magic of the area.

If one travels past the market to explore the rim of this inner sanctum, one would notice the enforcers; Court Guards themselves who guard their entry solemnly. Each entrance is rimmed with an obvious sign of the eight court elements.

    Aetherwynd Tree

Standing tall and imposing in the heart of the Feywild's inner sanctum is the magnificent tree that embodies the duality of life and death. Its immense trunk rises from the earth, commanding attention with its sheer size and profound presence. The tree is a marvel of nature, displaying two distinct halves that symbolize the contrasting forces of existence.

On one side, vibrant and verdant, the branches stretch outward, adorned with leaves of various shades of green. Blossoms burst forth, painting the scene with a kaleidoscope of colors, representing the ever-renewing cycle of life. Birds and small creatures find solace within the lively foliage, their songs echoing through the air.

Conversely, the other side of the tree reveals a stark contrast—a manifestation of decay and stillness. Here, the branches wither and twist, their gnarled forms reaching out like skeletal fingers. Leaves take on hues of crimson, brown, and gray, evoking the passing of seasons and the inevitable march of time. This half of the tree serves as a reminder of mortality, embracing the transient nature of all living things.

The trunk itself displays a seamless blend of these two opposing realms, seamlessly merging life and death in a mesmerizing dance. Roots intertwine with the earth, delving deep into the ground, drawing nourishment from the Feywild's essence. The tree stands as a testament to the interconnectedness of existence, where life and death coexist in perfect harmony.

As visitors approach the tree, they can feel the subtle shift in energy—a delicate balance that resonates throughout the surroundings. It serves as a focal point for contemplation, offering solace to those seeking wisdom or introspection. Mystical energies seem to emanate from its core, infusing the air with a tangible aura of ancient power.

The tree's significance extends beyond its physical form. It embodies the essence of the Demi-Gods, embodying their understanding of the cyclical nature of existence and the profound mysteries of life and death. Revered and respected, this magnificent tree stands as a sacred monument, a living testament to the eternal dance between the forces that shape their realm. And forever reminds them that death can be a permanent lasting remembrance even in their immortal span of life.

The rituals used to cure ailments and sicknesses in the realm of the Daegni can vary depending on the specific condition and the expertise of the healers and enchanters involved.
    Rituals

Purification Rite: A purification rite is a ritual performed to cleanse the body and spirit from the effects of a magical ailment. It involves the use of sacred herbs, incense, and enchanted waters. The afflicted individual is usually bathed or anointed with these purifying substances, while chants or prayers are recited to invoke the healing energies of the Feywild. The ritual aims to restore balance and harmony within the individual's magical and physical being.

Dreamweaving Ceremony: For ailments related to dreams or the subconscious mind, a dreamweaving ceremony may be conducted. Skilled Dreamweavers guide the afflicted individual into a deep meditative state and create a shared dreamscape where the healing process takes place. Through intricate rituals and the manipulation of dream energy, the Dreamweaver works to restore equilibrium and resolve the underlying issues causing the affliction.

Feylight Infusion: To counter the effects of Feylight Sickness, a ritual known as Feylight Infusion is performed. It involves the creation of a potent elixir or potion using rare Feywild plants and light-infused crystals. The afflicted individual consumes or applies this infusion, which helps attune their body to intense fey energy and strengthens their resilience against its harmful effects. The ritual may also include exposure to controlled levels of fey light to gradually acclimate the individual.

Feyblood Transfusion: In cases of Essence Drain, a Feyblood Transfusion ritual may be employed. This ritual involves the transfer of purified fey energy from willing donors to the afflicted individual. Skilled healers or mages perform intricate ceremonies to extract and infuse the vital fey essence into the recipient's body, replenishing their magical energy and restoring their life force. The donors must possess a strong connection to the Feywild and undergo rigorous preparations to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the transfusion.

Illusion Dispelling Ritual: For individuals suffering from the Illusionary Flux, an illusion dispelling ritual is performed. Skilled enchanters or mages use counter-magic and specific incantations to disrupt and dispel the illusory effects that plague the afflicted individual's senses. Through the manipulation of magical energies and the focused intent of the ritual, the illusions are gradually unraveled, allowing the individual to regain clarity and restore their perception of reality.

It's important to remember that these rituals are specific to the realm of the Daegni and may vary in their details and practices. The expertise and knowledge of the healers, enchanters, and mages involved play a significant role in the success and effectiveness of these rituals.
