As an enclave, the company functions as community shaped and grown through the diversity and contributions of it's members. Thus we focus a majority of our effort and roleplay to character development through daily interaction, and low impact, story driven plot lines.

We've aimed and tried quite hard to make Desiderium a place where you can really make your experience within the company something of your own choosing, rather then simply offering existing roles to pick from. If your character is a scholar looking to do research on medicinal herbs? Have at it! Is your character completely unskilled and just trying to figure out what fits them? Come aboard! A deserter seeking to start a new life without the restrictions of his past deeds? Awesome!

Here, we ask you what -you- want to do for the enclave. What your character wants to contribute, or what they seek to gain from being among us and our members. What we are, what we do, what we offer, how we grow - is all based on the characters that are a part of us, and the rp we have as time flows on.

As an Establishment
In order to fund the pursuits of it's members, and their curiosity. The enclave keeps it's doors open as a social lounge to walk in patrons of all types. To these individuals, Desiderium is a portal into the foreign and distant nations of the Far East. Though our menu, decor, and the interactions they have with our members. We enable our patrons to learn and discover more about Othard, and it's people from an insider's perspective.

With affordable food, drink, and lodgings. The establishment serves as a safe, relaxing, and open-minded environment to indulge ones curiosity without prejudice. Trading knowledge as easily as one can simply start a conversation, and help broaden the horizons of both our members - and those who meet them. With our focus as an establishment on meet-and-greet RP, and social interactions. Even players brand new to the game, or those just looking to meet new people are free to stop by.
