"Yes dear, I would love some water." Galwix continued slipping in and out of his accent.

"I believe the monster we fought does possess or is the product of one of these shards. However, we have no way to track it... any ideas?" He looked from the invisible voice to Adele to Prudence.

Sharing information is wasting time. Huh. So much for teamwork.

Grier preferred to have abundant research and data collected before careening into life threatening idiocy. But the normal bag of tricks may have to due for this one.

"Keep rolling your eyes." Grier said. "And maybe you'll find a brain back there," they muttered under their breath.

"Thanks for the coffee!"

They wrapped their tail around the cup and parkoured up to rest on a ceiling fan blade. Ignoring Galwix's inclusion, they sipped the hot liquid.
"Tracking it? No," Adele replies to Galwix as she collects the coffee cups, glasses, cream, and sugar onto a little tray. She's surprised as one is snagged away by an invisible hand (as she supposes) and then loses track of it for a minute. "Oh! Um, you're welcome." She smiles toward Prudence to indicate the same in her direction.

"Coffee. Cream and sugar if you like. And water," she offers to Prudence and Galwix before continuing on.

"I suppose we might be able to attract it somehow, but I wouldn't think an apartment building would be the best place to do so."
“Attract it?” Prudence thought for several long moments. “I may have an idea for that... where do you think would be most ideal for said attraction?”
"Well, somewhere away from lots of people, I would think. Is open ground better or some place with trees and things to, like, hide behind?"
"Hiding is good," Grier said from their perch. "I don't want to face that thing in an open field Revolutionary War style."

They sipped the last of the hot coffee. One day they'd remember not to drink it too fast.

"Watcha got in mind, Prudence?" They asked. "From what it said in the coffee shop, I'm pretty sure I'm on their hit list as one who confined it and all that. But I'd love to entertain alternate plans where I'm not bait."
"Ohh, I was going to make Galwix the bait." Prudence said as if it had been clear the whole time.

The announcement provoked a resigned sigh from Galwix, but not protest.

"So, where do we want to fight it?"
