Whalerdrake hosts a fair number of 3000 population, but has since been on the decline financially. The town was once famous for its Wailmer products, but slowly, the migrating Laprases outnumbered the Wailmer and forced the inhabitants of Whalerdrake to take up jobs such as cobbling shoes for travelers and carpentry/masonry to fix up their Pokecenter and Poke' Gym.
Their Pokeshop is under new ownership as of late, and their original Gym Leader went into the woods one day and never returned. The town is very superstitious, seeing their decline as a bad omen that keeps getting worse.
Whalerdrake is situated to the South East of Nirava Resort, also residing along the coastline. There's a ferry that travels further southward, but it has been charging outrageous prices as of late.
