Rules

    1. No godmoding/powergaming will be permitted during roleplay
Controlling others in your posts or godmoding of any sort will not be tolerated.
    2. Keep a respectful disposition
Respecting the other member's ideas and presence is key to having a fun group of people around. Therefore I must ask you to be respectful around others, even if you don't agree with their ideas in order to avoid unnecessary fights.
    3. No excessive content
Although we do not intend for this group to be completely PG:13 (by today's standards at least) there are still limits to what you can and cannot do. No situations of excessive gore and violence and no explicit sexual situations.
    4. Stick to the setting
The setting will be a relatively loose one that focuses on different people in different parts of a predetermined location as well as focusing on certain events that will transpire. However, this world has a lot of freedom in it. But it will be set in modern to near future times, we have to draw the line somewhere!
    5. Original creations only
We don't allow canon characters from different settings in this group. For instance; Spike has to stay on the Bebop, and Goku from DBZ is not allowed in either. The same goes for creating characters. Creating a character has to be made mostly if not entirely by you, this said if you become stuck a moderator or admin within the group will do their best to help you solve any writing blocks you may encounter. You can use existing people in your own life as a basis for your characters, of course, but in the end the creation has to be yours only and original in feel.
    6. Be mindful of other players
Roleplay is very fun and this world will be where lots of strange things are quite commonplace. That said you should be mindful of a scene and other characters within it if you intend to break things up in a major way. This can be done as simply as sending a PM to the players involved and asking beforehand. Massive and repeated derailing of scenes to the dismay of other players will not be tolerated and may lead to being banned.
    7. No major changes to the setting without permission from the group owner
You are free to do many things within the group but be careful when introducing new elements. Burning down an entire city or robbing a major museum or defacing a public area must also be done with a moderator involved or will be invalid and may lead to a ban.
    8. No meta-gaming
Using OOC knowledge to give yourself an advantage or even read the future IC-ly is simply not fun and should even be considered to be cheating in a storytelling sense. Stories revolving around secrecy should not be known to your faction unless the owner gives you the permission to have been secretly present at whatever is going on.
    9. In-Character Actions will always lead to In-Character Consequences
A character's acts will always bring about consequences, just as in real life. In real life, punching a policeman that's searching you will probably get you in huge trouble. In this group, the same logic applies. Think about the acts you character does IC-ly, because the other players and the setting itself will react to them logically. If your character ends up a life-time sentence in jail or even gets killed by sticking their noses in too deep somewhere this will be permanent.
    10. Character Enrollment and Use
You are allow 2 characters only for this RP; the only exception to this rule is if "Character A" can either "split into Characters B & C" or "multiply into Characters A1, A2, A3, ..., A99, etc." - but please be reasonable and considerate of others so as to not derail the RP due to sheer numbers.
    11. Character Restrictions
We also ask that your character's default form be human; and by default we mean that whenever their powers are not in use they revert to a normal human form. We reserve the right to refuse and or ban players that defy this rule, period. Monsters, furries and walking disasters are not going to be tolerated or catered to.
    12. Power Enlistment
So as to avoid having a group full of fire manipulators or mind controllers we are instilling a limit as to how many powers can be used by multiple people, that limit is one across the board. I.E. only one character can control the weather and only one can have immortality. A list will be kept to keep track of who has what and what is no longer available.
    13. Power Restriction
Most if not all character will have recently acquired their "Empowerments", this said they will be inexperienced at using/controlling them in various ways and to various degrees. We will also nerf or ban certain powers we deem as too powerful to have at the start, chief among these being all-powerful/all-encompassing abilities.
    14. Character/Power Struggles
Just like in real life everyone has something that hold us back from our full potential. As such each ability will have a certain "quirk" that prevents it from being utilized properly/fully - this will range from anything from a physical, mental, emotional, psychological or spiritual kind of hindrance; this is required. I.E. Growing extra arms could mean anything from the pain of rapidly creating new arms to unwieldiness and lack of control due to new mental pathways needing to be formed.
    15. Admin and Moderator Rights
The controlling team of the group reserves the rights to change, add and remove rules, enforce punishment and reward members as we see fit without question.
