Presently a WIP.
Just some things for you to take into consideration:

⌦ A healthy horse can do 8-10 miles per hour trotting, 4-5 walking, and can go about 8-12 hours a day (not including watering/resting):
Trotting: 64-120 miles per day, Walking: 32-60 miles per day.

⌦ A fairly fit person can walk about 20 miles per day.

⌦ Keep in mind that not everyone will have access to horses, and even if they do not all horses are presently in tip-top condition, so you will need to factor this into the time it will take your character to get from Point A to Point B.

⌦ The Hole and Swan Hallow are approximately equidistant to the nucleus of Fort Cheyenne, with travel time spanning 4 days each walking for a relatively fit individual barring harsher weather conditions, personal injury, or disability.

TRAVEL TIMES IN THE BASIN

From Fort Cheyenne, how long would it take me to get to The Hole on foot?

The average fit person could likely walk from Fort Cheyenne to The Hole in four days, at an average of 15-20 miles per day. This would make the total distance between The Hole and Fort Cheyenne about 80 miles from one central point to the next. If your character is not physically fit or has a permanent disability (limp, broken/missing limbs, etc), or if there is inclement weather preventing travel, it will likely take them a full six days' travel (or longer depending on severity) to get from one to the other.

From Fort Cheyenne, how long would it take me to get to The Hole on horseback?

Considering the distance from Fort Cheyenne to The Hole is approximately 80 miles, a healthy horse can trot a distance upwards of 108 miles in a single day. This does not take into consideration the need to break for rest and water, and it assumes you will be traveling for 12 hours straight which is unlikely unless in the case of emergency. Walking your horse for 12 hours straight would earn you 60 miles traveled in a day, again not considering the need to break for rest and water. Even so, a person traveling by horse could likely cut their trip in half. Realistically speaking, expect your trip to take a total of two days by riding horseback from Fort Cheyenne to The Hole (or vice versa) barring any unforeseen circumstances (weather or injury, for example).
