Greystone

  • Lorewood Forest & Greystone Tavern
Nestled deep within the woods of Lorewood Forest in Desdemond County, alongside the rocky and heavily-trodden road between the cities of Saffingwell and Modesty, Greystone Tavern rises amidst the heavy foliage like a beacon for weary souls, welcoming travelers with the promise of good food, good drink, and comfortable beds. A well-respected establishment, the picturesque locale and quaint décor provides the feeling of a home away from home while meeting the needs of any traveler, providing a fully stocked general store and temporary housing for less transient residents. At first glance, Greystone is your average, run-of-the-mill Roadside Tavern, however first impressions may be misleading.

  • The Menu

Greystone Tavern offers a limited menu, with only bare essentials and seasonal specials offered at any given time. Supplies are limited and shipments are becoming increasingly expensive to receive due to Royal security checkpoints, and despite the efforts of Alliah and her family, the land doesn't yield enough produce to be fully self-sustaining.

  • General Store

The General Store located on the property of Greystone Tavern is always well stocked with only the most required of necessities. Inside you are capable of finding what you need rather than what you want, and while it provides an array of affordable items, you are not likely to find anything of a high value.

Providing simple garments which are suited for traveling, it is possible to commission attire which might not be as well crafted or as fashionable as those found in larger towns and villages, though it they are all made with sturdy stitching capable of the wear-and-tear common to traveling.

A small market is set up just outside the General Store, providing furres a shaded area to enjoy freshly-baked bread from the tavern as well as seasonal fruit that has been harvested from the surrounding land.

  • The Bath House at Greystone Tavern

The Bath House's only employee is a sweet, yet conniving young coyote named Margaret. Keen on pushing the more expensive, cast-iron tubs, she'll be more than happy to take payment for any of the available options of bathing rooms.

The common baths are available for one copper and are open for use for anyfurre. They are not private, and only provide basic soap for cleansing.
    Wood Tubs .. 3 coppers

    Cast-Iron Tubs .. 4 coppers
The private rooms for the tubs of cast-iron are considerably larger than those for the wooden tubs, come with a full array of soaps and perfumes which are already included in the price of the room.

The Bath House at Greystone Tavern is available to rent or own.

  • Jail House

The jail house holds two cells for those who get too unruly inside the tavern, and those committed will be kept in either cell for the entire duration of the night or longer depending on the committed crime, unless someone else can pay your bail -- which also depends on what put you behind the cell bars to begin with.

Galen, the Bull who keeps an eye of the jail house is intimidating at best, and it's good to steer clear of him. He's good at not taking any bull.
