Northwest Nights

The Agency, based on the International Contracts Agency, is 'a multinational, extremely-funded criminal organization independent of the world's governments, with ties to various groups and individuals, providing assassination and mercenary services.'¹ with four positions of membership: Administration, Handlers, Agents, and Hammer Teams. Each position has different inner rankings from Initiate to Tetra, with Tetra being the highest rank (Note: Only the major leaders of the Hammer Teams are Tetra rank).

The Agency supplies information and intel as well, with spies and informants world-wide, as well as access to high-tech surveillance. However, the general public is completely unaware of the Agency's existence. Many others who are not well-informed believe the Agency to be a sort of 'bogeyman organization,' and that they do not, in fact, exist. Those with knowledge know the Agency itself exists, but most still believe their top agent, often referred to only as 'The Spirit of Death,' doesn't exist, and is merely a scare tactic.

Ranks
Tetra - Highest rank attainable. Privy to even the most sensitive information.
Gamma - Highest rank for Agents and Hammer Team members.
Beta - Rank 3.
Epsilon - Rank 4.
Omega - Rank 5. Lowest active Agent rank.
Initiate - Lowest rank- period. Anyone still in assessment for Agent status is an Initiate, and some Hammer Team members are still Initiates.

Administration

All individuals in Administration positions are Gamma level and above. They are the ones in charge of accepting contracts and directing the other sections of the corporation, making sure everything runs smoothly.They are also responsible for putting out fires and keeping the Agency a secret.

Handlers

People in the Handler Program act as the 'middle man' between clients and Agents. Handlers can be of any rank except Initiate, with their ranks being entirely determined on the agents they manage. They are responsible for their agents' lives, and often gather a rapport with the ones they work with. Trust is a necessary building block.

Agents

Agents can be assassins or intel officers. These people are tasked with completing contracts and/or gathering information. Sometimes, an assassin's contract includes information or material retrieval, but always includes at least one assassination. Infiltration and ex-filtration are necessary talents for all agents, regardless of rank or status. All active agents are Omega rank and above, with none being higher than Gamma.

Hammer Teams

Hammer teams are the mercenary groups of the Agency. Every team is made up of no less than five members, with some groups being the size of a small militia. Members can be of any rank, but rarely attain even Gamma rank. Only the highest parts of the leadership are Tetra rank.
