*he nods, then closes his eyes... Before opening them wide, the runes around them glowing gold* ... *you can see... A reptilian race. With great pride in their arm strength and teamwork... Games. Normal, ordinary games. Like sumo, and rugby combined into one sport. Weapons and armor clinging tightly to the early ideals of wrestling, as nearly every weapon is made to fit around their arms like a gauntlet. There is exploration. Art. Development... Wars? Peace... And they are able to be happy~

*he closes his eyes* "did you like what you saw?"

You smile. "Yeah... yeah, that looks amazing; I'd love to be a part of that. Just gotta figure out what this business with the frogs is all about... I still have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing with that."
"Well yer going to have to get the place all thawed out. Then you'll need the ecto stuff placed to start trying to mutate frogs... Then you'll be missing the most important part and you'll need to make a deal with me for it."
*Sucre interjects* "and if you mess up, your error will manifest as a cancer within future sessions, with a high likelihood of killing your frog and every instance of your new universe"
"Damn, then I really better do a good job of this... that would suck."
*at the same time,* "yes, it would."
... *your Denizen continues,* "is there anything else you would like to talk about, or anyone you would like to talk to?"
"I think that's all for now... but it was really nice meeting the two of you," you say, smiling at both your denizen and Sucre. "Unless there was anything /you/ wanted to talk about?"
*Sucre chuckles some and asks,* "how'd it feel getting spread by the Dersite queen"
*your own Denizen face-palms at this*
You, however, find this statement utterly hilarious and laugh. "/Almost/ as good as when Diamonds fed me coffee cake. But not quite. Dude she totally wants my black quadrant."
"Ha ha, I think you'll find it to be a hard one to stabilize since its based on the murder of her agents and your needing to create the very thing she loathes the most in all of existance, but stranger things have happened. Maybe if you could find a way to force your trust upon her. Maybe kidnap her and her whole people, taking them through to the new universe."
You grin. "Then she'll /have/ to admit that I was right and she was wrong. She's just got no faith... which is sad, really. But she'll see. Of course... I can't imagine she'll be too pleased when we get around to taking down the black king..."
"Oh, pthhhh. That old relic?"
*giving more detail, your Denizen says,* "the black king and queen arn't very... Close. They don't bother trying to keep up communication while the king is nothing but a massive chess piece. Unlike the Prospitians, who do have faith."
"So... she's probably completely on her own right now, without her ring, and he's not even aware? Damn." You snicker. "That'll make this way easier for us. I'd thought she'd be looking for his support about now."
"Yep! Queeny is just sittin away in her room, playing her frustrations away." *Sucre mimes playing a violin*
*your Denizen adds,* "ever since your Knight got ahold of the means to be the one in charge of random teleportation murders, she has realized that she has no counter to that. She is not happy about the situation."
"Well, I did give her a chance," you say with a slight shrug. "What kind of leader does that, anyway, sits and plays a violin while she thinks her kingdom is in danger." You shake your head.
*your Denizen continues* "one that has already had a kingdom in danger, and that has already taken action to account for it. You must understand, they to are bound by some rules. If they truly wished you dead, then your dream selves would be gone already... And your chance might not have been taken as the 'chance' you think it was."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean that whatever you might try and offer the queen will most likely be interprited as a trap. She is not trusting."
"Yeah... I do kinda feel bad about that. I did mean what I said at the time, though."
"Its not enough to be honest with Dersites. They have to have an absolute backup ready before near any relationship is formed. And if you ever managed to get them in such a position, then they would likely be the ones already in control, and they would do what they wanted, paying little mind to you. The are supposed to be incredibly difficult to negotiate with. I can only think of 1 time where I had ever heard of a diplomatic victory, and that was a very special case."
*Sucre adds,* "Oooh! I heard about that session! someone prototyped a picture of that neighbor man. 'Ohhh, won't... you be... My neighbor'"
You let out a sigh. "Well that sucks; honestly with anyone that's not a Dersite, I can't see anything working out with a mentality like that, and even then. But I think by now the whole concept of reaching a diplomatic solution is shot anyway. Between killing her agents, and my 'betrayal', I doubt I could get her to trust me again without using force... and at that point, I doubt it really counts as diplomatic.

"Really I guess I should have known it wouldn't work. I'm no diplomat, and never have been; if anything, I prefer to let my swords do the talking. It's just, flat out war really sets my teeth on edge, you know? So many people die, and suffer, and it just seems like such a waste. War is one of the few things that I really just cannot stand."
