The rules here are a requirement, not a pass on basis. All members, including staff, are bound by these rules if they decide to play here.
AGE
You MUST be 18 years old to play in the game, anyone who is underage and caught, will be banned from the dream, no if, ands or buts, REGARDLESS of parental permission. This is enforced because there is mature and sexualized themes here, and it is against Furcadia TOS for you to roleplay in such areas.
POSTING LIMIT
[*]There is no Persona play or One-lining allowed in the dream. It is a SEMI-PARA to PARA+ environment. This means that there is a minimum requirement of 4+ lines in the SMALLEST Furcadian font.
[*]Persona Play=Your own actions and or words, such as using the first person view. 3rd person, past tense is required. I.E./ "Nano walked to the door and looked back behind her shoulder with an idle smirk.", not "I walk to the door and look back behind me with an idle smirk."
[*]While yes, Multi-Para is allowed, please don't overdo it. Be courteous enough to put <c>, >>>>, or <cont> at the end of your first part, and <e>, <X>, or <end> at the end of your final post. Try to keep it to two paragraphs maximum.
OOC
[*]OOC or out-of-character statements are not allowed in the main screen. There is an OOC room or whispers made for just that.
[*]The OOC room is a place where ANYTHING goes, though please use your proper judgement while speaking. If you're not courageous enough to say it in real life, don't say it here. HOWEVER, please note that if your behavior violates Furc TOS, you will be removed.
BEHAVIOR, GODMODING, CONTINUITY LIMITS
Behavior
[*]As with the OOC, anything goes, however, please use your proper judgement and common sense. This means, don't be an unnecessary douche bag.
[*]Do not whine to the staff about every single little tidbit you don't like about someone. Unless it is a huge issue (Such as Extreme, OOC racism, discrimination, etc.), the Andromeda staff will not cater to personal vendettas
[*]Belligerent behavior against staff members when they tell you not to do something will not be tolerated. While ultimately they must report to the Rah if they are going to ban or eject someone, they do have the right to do so without consultation if your behavior is extreme.
Godmoding
Godmoding, or making your character unbeatable, invincible, controlling another player's actions, auto hitting, excessive evasion, etc, is not allowed, and is extremely looked down upon. Those who commit it will only be given one warning. **This is especially enforced with those who are fighting in the arena. If godmoding is caught, or unauthorized by the other player, the player being offended upon will be allowed to dodge the attack.
Character Limits
[*]There are no limitations as to what kind of character you can play, only on the power that the character holds. As long as you can think of a good enough reason as to why they would be there, that's perfectly fine by me! (Example: Magic, Arcane Portals, Stargates, Technologically advanced enough, Bifrost [yep, went there], etc)
[*]CHARACTERS OF CONTROVERSIAL ORIGIN will never be restricted. If you don't like it, you ignore it. This is the Internet, and here, you do have the ability to 'Ignore'. Do it. You are adults. Whining over something like this is immature. NOW, if they hold the same views as said controversial characters, i.e. openly stating in whisper or OOC, 'All Jews must die', 'I hate anyone who isn't white/black/hispanic/etc', 'fags should burn in hell', etc. THAT is bannable.
[*]Any and all races are allowed to be played here, anything from fantasy based to sci-fi characters. An explanation as to how a technologically primitive person could come to be here are enumerable, use your creative juices!
CONTINUITY LIMIT
Under no circumstances will you damage Andromeda property without explicit consent of the Rah. Such actions will be immediately voided and you will be warned. Another such action will have you removed from the continuity.
SEX
[*]It is allowed no where but your room, period. If you are found having sexual relations anywhere but there, you will be warned. One more warning will involve in a removal. If there are no more rooms available.... That means there needs to be an expansion!
[*]The STAGE allows sexualized displays during shows, but on no occasion actual penetration. This is for such things as properly disciplining a slave, Bondage performances, etc.
ADS, SPAM, ETC
Ads
Advertisements are allowed in small quantity, such as [Commissions] or [dreamname] with a link to your site or the dream. However, descriptions that are blatantly advertising something more than they are describing a character are not allowed. Use discretion.
Spam
Under no circumstances is repeated typing of the same thing, or OOC advertising allowed. This includes blatant abuse of furcadia commands, desc-tags, etc. Such as Throw-Snowball or make-cookie. Spam can also be trollish behavior, such as typing 'UR A FAG' over and over again on the main map.
Idling
[*]Under No circumstances are you allowed to idle for long periods of time on the main map, either move to the idle pit, or the OOC room.
[*]This is especially so for the cages, under no circumstances will a slave idle in the cages for long periods of time. Leave room for those who are active.
STAFF ABUSE
[*]Staff abuse can be described as two separate things, Staff Abuse, and Patron Abuse from A Staff Member.
[*]Staff Abuse: Absolutely negating a staff member's authority based upon your own opinions. They are staff members for a reason, and if your behavior proves to be the problem, you will be removed.
[*]Patron Abuse: This is when a staff member seems to be targeting a single member or group of members from the dream. This can be bad treatment, attitude, or abuse of their authority. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED. And up to three reports will cause the staff member to be removed.
Reporting an Incident:
1] SAVE LOGS AND SCREENSHOTS. This goes for both staff members and patrons. If you are being harassed by a dream member or staff member, you must provide evidence, UNALTERED, of the incident.
2]Send a whisper to the RAH, AS WELL AS a forum message with all the links and information to the incident.
3] Wait. Usually problems WILL be solved right away unless I am out or missing.
PLEASE NOTE: The only time past incidents will be used is if the situation is severe. (Pedophilia, Serious OOC harassment, Past, severe dream problems)
