Hey, just to keep everyone posted regarding the chatroom trials:

I sent Kim (the admin here) a PM and asked her to check out this thread. Here is her response:

Subject: RE: Chat

Hey Ebony, thanks for passing that along!

I think you will be happy to know that options for adjusting the sound volume, different chat colors for groups, and fullscreen options for the chat are definitely planned. Also, the issue with the chat overflowing when someone posts a ridiculously long word has a patch written for it already that will be applied in the next few days.
*grins all happy like*

Ta da! :D
Wow... okay.. so I just tried out the new feature.. We now have a chat settings icon where you can adjust the settings.. :D Kim has also been working hard on other changes, but it was bad timing with the server.
Thats how I roll...

rolled 3d6 and got 15

Okay.. I dont get the whole dice roll thing.. I know.. Im blonde.. whatevs :P
Can anyone explain??
It's simple if you understand table-top role playing games. It's like this. The first number you select is the number of dice you plan to roll. The second number is the number of sides each die has. So, if you said "1" and "6", Then you would be rolling a single 6-sided die (like you would find in monopoly). If you said "3" and "20" then you would be rolling 3 20-sided dice (for a number anywhere between 3 and 60). This is mostly used for people who do combat and want it to be more fair (they would use 20-sided dice to determine who hit and whatnot).

Yeah.. Ive played Monopoly.. thats about all that I made sense of.. LOL.

So.. do you have say.. like a predetermined number that you decide on.. like.. If I roll above a 20 then I have.. what broken bones.. or something? Sorry.. I just dont geddit. :/
That's where the particulars come in. It really depends on what the fighters agree upon.
Also, much better on the full screen. Could still stretch the borders out to fill the screen, shorten the bottom where the send button is, and change the spacing between posts for more information on the screen. Also, perhaps add a button that allows people to see who all is in the chatroom currently.
