Nearly five years. Five years since Steve first remerged in this new world.The process of becoming whole again was a slow one, he'd let out of a lot of his past that was holding him back and embraced the new, new friends, allies, enemies all of it. But when even a minor part of his past comes back he will stop and look for it for ages. First Hydra came back and then, more importantly, Bucky came back. His best friend, the man who was like a brother and the man he failed. Bucky 'dying' all those years ago still haunted him to this day, but he had made a promise to find him and bring Bucky home. Making Bucky whole again would make himself whole again.
Though this mission was temporality on hold. The only people Steve had told about his search was Nat and Sam, the rest of the team didn't know and for now thats the way he'd like to keep it. Steve was currently dressed in the bottom half of his uniform and his torso was dressed by a blue running skin as he walked the halls of the sleek New Avengers HQ.
His mind wouldn't fully allow him to understand how something so stylised was also so practical, but he just accepted the designs Tony had made and moved on with it. Hmmm training day...drills..... As he was walking through the halls he was reading the schedule for the day on tablet, one of the many benefits of the modern age were these useful little things.
