Interstellar Roleplay

Interstellar is a science fiction roleplay set in the distant future of our own world. After a cataclysmic war almost wipes humanity out and a cosmic collision, the world has changed greatly. Empires fight for their place in the stars, species previously unknown to us live their lives... There are limitless opportunities that await you.

This roleplay is heavy on the world building aspect: we want each and every member to contribute to creating this vast world! Once things are decided they will be added the our Lore Library, but a summary of important knowledge will be found on The World tab above. You are not required to know all about this world just to live in it, but you will want basic to knowledge to understand what side you stand with and why.

In Interstellar, three massive powers are at war. The United Alliance, people of Earth, want to take complete control of our Solar System, now known as the Lux System. The Imperial Confederacy, people of Nylis, want to gain control as well, but mostly for the sake of stopping the UA. The Rebellion, a ragtag group from each faction, are sick and tired of the corruption and want it to stop. This will be the backdrop for our roleplay, it will directly affect each and every character as different main events come to pass. Members of each faction will have the ability to sway the outcome of this conflict over time. This is the main plot that we are working with, and it will be divided into 'story arcs' to keep things easy to understand.

No one can truly divert the course of the cosmos alone, amidst the fighting, everyone has their own lives, goals, aspirations. these sub-plots interact and affect the story just as much as our main conflict, but fall under a smaller scale and are largely character driven. Gang wars in Mexico, fly-by attacks in space, exploration, skirmishes, romance... it all falls to what your characters want and need to do to survive. Trillions of people in System Lux are living impoverished. This story is about them. What stories will you make?
