Title: WIP
Synopsis: It's the eve of a total lockdown in Raccoon City. What started out as "just a little flu", as a Umbrella Corporation backed US Senator had said to a press conference, escalates into chaotic mayhem. The diseased pour into the hospitals, riots set the streets aflame and now the military move in to enforce the quarantine, with orders to shoot all who disobey it on sight. Landlines are severed, cellphones are confiscated or die out. Raccoon City is in total darkness. Only the common men, women and children who made it out with the literal skin on their teeth know of the unspeakable horrors witnessed on what was once a bustling, prosperous town.

Based off the Resident Evil series of games and movies, these are the reports of survivors from all walks of life who once lived in Raccoon City or happened to be there at the worst possible time in a harrowing, gut-wrenching light.
Author Notes: Why, hi, yes, hello, it's me, your favorite freak, C H U R C H T U A R Y .
I've been haunted by Resident Evil ever since I was 5. It took me a good couple of decades to realize how silly and immature its writing can be a lot of the times and I've had a good amount of laughs from unfunny memes and jokes and parodies and what-not. As much fun as I had with the many entries in the series, I feel like the two Outbreak games weren't done ANY justice. Even though you're always scraping for resources in survival horrors, the Outbreak games put you into the shoes of regular people just caught up in the apocalyptic zombie outbreak in Raccoon City and you're taken to all sorts of locations in those games.

I've always wanted to open up a Resident Evil roleplay based off Outbreak but I never had the guts to open up a thread only to let down a whole bunch of people because of my perpetual lack of motivation to continue any long term projects I get started. So screw it. Why not make a fanfic, then? Compared to, what, a decade ago already? Where I took pride into crapping out a 7,000 words Pokémon fanfic over the course of a month, I can comfortably write that same amount in around two or three days worth of work, supposed my brain allows it.

Anyway, not sure if I'm gonna make it. And even if I do, nothing guarantees it'll be a good read, since not only I'm terribly uneducated but also ESL! But I wanted to thank Claine anyway for coming up with RPR's own NNWM Jr.
Funfact: My birthday's in november. :B
Until then, I guess!
