    While Cascadia is a custom world that was hand built by it's founders, a number of different sources serve as the foundational inspirations behind the world. The following is a list of key inspirations:

    Urban & Cultural Inspirations
    Seattle & the Pacific Northwest: The entire city is an alternate-universe Aberdeen, WA; it's industrial, maritime, and soaked in rain. Cascadia channels Seattle’s tech boom, music legacy (grunge, punk, and jazz scenes), and immigrant food culture.
    American Rust Belt Cities, New Orleans & Gothic Americana, and California / East Coast Metropolises all serve as inspiration sources behind each of the districts found in Cascadia.
