Mission Logs are a requirement for successfully completed missions. They say that your agent or their group got back home successfully, and they pass along any information that they may have gained back to the AotM as a whole. Information in Mission Logs are considered entirely IC, and unless a Log is marked as 'Classified', they are available for any agent to look up IC using their data systems of AotM. Mission Logs are always written in character, and may be written by one character selected by the group, or by multiple characters contributing. Keep in mind though, if your character isn't involved, then they don't get any of the activity points. You'll still get points for finishing the mission, but you won't get the additional that come from the log itself.  Step One Make a new thread here. Staff will move your Mission Log after it's been approved for you. Your title should start with Mission Log or Log, followed by the name of your completed mission. Step Two Fill out one of the Mission Log Templates listed in the dropdown on the right side of this page, or make your own using the information listed there. Either is acceptable as long as your Log is readable and neat. Sloppy files will be sent back. Your file must be written in your character's 'voice'. If multiple characters are contributing, they must contribute at least 200 words in order to collect activity points. An easy way to do this is simply to have each character write a statement about the mission from their perspective. Mission Logs that have particular polish can collect a 100 bonus polish points on top of the other points. Step Three Submit your file to #requests-and-reviews! Staff will get back to you shortly to either approve your Log or ask for changes. |
