• Description

  The creature you see is what is known in Kasuria, along with the rest of the Dragonlands as a 'minidrake' (Please see below), this one a male and seems to be somewhere near adulthood on the younger side. From nose to tail tip his body is a nice crimson red with yellow highlights, with a yellow underside as well. His tiny claws, wing tips, and horns jet black.
  
  He appears to be a bit smaller than a typical house cat and has a thin build having a long neck and tail, and legs to match. His little paws having pointed claws, though rather ineffective for fighting seem to allow him to climb on just about anything with ease and his body agile. His snout small though lined with little pointed teeth though his jaws are smaller than a typical human thumb.
  
  The tiny dragon seems to be completely domestic as he is fairly well groomed and sporting a small black collar on his neck complete with a little somewhat tarnished metal tag reading "Dav", on the opposite side reading "Pet of Draum and Delysia" along with their address and means to contact them.
  
  Dav's temperament seems friendly if not very cautious and a little timid, though otherwise calm and seems to study everything around himself with constant curiosity.

Minidrakes are not in telepathic contact with others. They are about as intelligent as a clever dog. In Drakoria and Harshlaw, a minidrake not touching its owner may be shot as a common pest."
  
  "Their eggs are precious and they're a bit like cockatoos: They can be friendly but they can also bite. Wyrmmes tend to dislike them because of their use as spies, and in most strongholds, they are shot on sight. When wearing a cloak, they can be smuggled into places they don't belong. Less than a meter tall at adulthood, and can ride on a shoulder comfortably."

  • Animal Mind
    Has the limited mental facilities of an animal such as a smart dog or cat. Cannot do any of the following:
    Fully understand language (only key words and expression), Speak, Read, Write, use devices/technology/etc., Intelligently plan, barter, understand complex symbolism, etc.

    Unlike wild animals, Dav has been trained with a handful of skills. Fetching, tracking, command words, catching, advanced flying, etc.
  • Mixed upbringing
    Has been raised as a domestic animal, but also spent time as a stray. Possessing both domestic skills and some feral skills
  • Magical (minor)
    Being a minidrake Dav is considered a minor magical creature. Having very limited telepathy (see official minidrake species info), and a vague sense of magic in the world.
  • Dragon senses (minor)
    Being a minidrake Dav has the standard senses of the Dracosaur sub-species of dragon. This includes low-light vision, heightened sense of smell, wide hearing spectrum, etc.
  • Kleptomania (minor)
    Although far from real kleptomania, by nature being a dragon-type creature Dav has a tendency to have the desire to take shiny or soft small objects for his den, similar to a magpie, or the true dragons desire for gold. However this desire is fairly easily resisted.

  • Aerial Catch
    Can catch thrown items in the air, so long as they are small and light enough
  • Wingover
    Can perform tight turns and even reverse direction in the air so long as wind is light
  • Large vocabulary
    Trained to understand a large number of command words similar to those used for dogs but expanded for flying creatures
  • Hover (clumsy)
    Can fly in place within a 2 foot drift, however this is rapidly tiring.
  • Track
    Can follow a fresh scent on the ground, or follow an active smell on the wind
  • Orientation
    Can use a handful of visual cues to figure out compass directions, however not with understanding of furre terms (North/South/East/West)
  • Mental map
    Can quickly figure out how to navigate familiar areas and backtrack
  • Unknown skills
    There are a handful of skills that are yet not learned by others and can only be figured out by seeing what he can do. It is still unknown who originally trained him and for what purpose if any.
