  Current family: Unfortunately most of Ariadne's family has died. She has a niece, Miranda, who she raised from a young age with a lot of love, despite not being a warm parental figure. When Miranda was offered a place at a good university, Ariadne insisted she take it, even though it affected the old woman badly to be left alone.
