I've never played into the universe being fair, but this one's cruel. -
Behind him paced a Great Dane. Whether this was Huxley, Runciter or Kazak didn't appear to matter until it was time for them to take commands; all three of Karki's dogs were identical, mute, pure black, sharp-eared and broad. And all three glowed faintly green in questionably dim light - not for aesthetic purposes, but to easily mark altered cells.
