Grimsby

They say that when you see a shooting star in the night's sky, you are to make a wish upon it. Well this falling star was much different than those come to be known.

Paikauhale, or as he had come to be known later in life as Grimsby, woke up in what appeared to be a crater, he in the middle of it. Behind him was a wall of bedrock and what looked like cooled magma. As he looked to the opening of the crater, the tail of it if you will, he could see if stretched for a good distance. Deciding to follow it, for he had nothing else to do, he walked along it, discovering that the closer he got to the opening of this, the more shiny parts of this tail he discovered. Perhaps it was due to the same mixed in with the soil of this place, which then produced glass.

Once he had exited out of the crater's tail, he turned around to see that he had literally made a hole in the earth. A new feeling washed over him, it made him feel warm, self conscious, and he brought a hand to the back of his neck, rubbing it. He didn't know what to call this feeling, but he didn't like how it made him feel. Little did he know, that in the years to come, this area would grow and build upon itself to become a nice little island chain.

It wasn't long before he had been discovered by another that appeared as he did. At least all that he could see upon himself, with the feathers sticking out of his fur and all. She introduced herself as Elidi and she offered him knowledge, training, and shelter. He happily accepted for what else was he to do. He had been thrown into this world without much assistance.

In the years that he had spent with Elidi and soon her brother Eryx, he learned of what it is he was, whom his host star was, which would explain the pull and desire to look upon it when it was in view, and then he learned of what else he possessed....Death Touch.....

As scary as it was, he learned through verbal education on how he can control it, but it was certainly a difficult thing, once he had learned what it is he was, he struggled with not wanting to touch either Elidi or Eryx, he didn't want to accidently cause the death of them.
