1. All romances take place within their respective seperate universes, unless otherwise specified. Lost or past lovers may be mentioned, but it should never be assumed that Vali is both in a relationship with (Muse A) and (Muse B) in the same universe and timeline. That will be decided on a mun to mun basis. Some people like to hear about and integrate Vali's (and their characters) other relationships, some people are more interested in having something more along the lines of a monogamous relationship. Polyamory, Polyfidelity, Queer Platonic Relationships, Open Relationships, and Monogamy are all on the table for Valeriu. During Vali's post Archmage timeline, any past 'canon'/NPC romantic relationships (such as his relationship with Faelon) are considered to be ended (at least for now), and Vali is essentially single.

2. While it is not too difficult to engage in something of a sexual/romantic relationship with Vali, one will very quickly find that Vali has * a lot * of issues that often cause strife within relationships. Many of his past (canon) relationships, especially those during his time as Archmage, were unhealthy, tumultuous, unequal....

There could be many reasons for this, but the main reason was a lack of security and emotional balance within these relationships, plus often a lack of truthfulness. Vali is NOT keen on sharing certain aspects of his past, nor his status as a Vessel, and almost has a sort of ...'block' there. Circumstances often end up compelling him to finally reveal it, but sometimes by then, it is too little, too late. Vali has broken hearts and gotten his heart broken too many times to count. And yet he still is hopeful for the experience of love.

Vali is passionate, affectionate, falls very deeply in love and its very difficult to get him to fall out of love, actually quite longing for a deep connection. And it doesn't stop at the honeymoon phase, just morphs into something else, though a honeymoon phase with a fae can be a total whirlwind. Hopeless Romantic vibes....but actually breaking past those massive walls he made around himself takes a lot of time, energy, and trust both on the part of my muse and your muse. I enjoy exploring this conflict with him.

His tendency to keep secrets, his intensity of emotions, the baggage hes carrying from his past, the presence of Aeshma and the spirits influencing him, it is like an albatross around his neck. One should be aware of this when delving into romantic relationships with Vali. He is not an 'easy' romance. It will be rocky. Vali will give mixed signals until forced to give a clear answer. He will be moody at times. His passion will be overwhelming. He will not be entirely honest with your muse at first.

That being said, he is highly devoted and loyal to those he loves, and despite his fae capriciousness, once he falls in love with someone, he is not keen to ever leave. Extreme circumstances are what ultimately drive him apart from someone, and it breaks him apart every time. He doesn't 'get over' people. If that interests you/doesn't scare you off, then you're more than welcome to try your hand at romancing the Problem Bug(tm)!

3. Goes without saying, but I am okay with writing more 'problematic' relationships. Within reason.
