  • Main Idea

In the vast expanse of space and the galaxy, there is far too much new things left undiscovered. Within the same breath, however, there is an immense amount of beauty unseen by the rest of the people in the galaxy who live comfortably in their homes, the rest of the worlds all over the universe left as an unquestioned unknown.

Thus, your job is brought into play to discover worlds unseen by the rest of your people. You are technically called an astronaut, but above all, you pride yourself in space exploration.

This roleplay will be centered upon space exploration and will be ongoing in that it will not have an end until the group itself disbands. The explorers will go from planet to planet, each planet's discovery being an adventure. The players will all play as different staff on the exploration space craft, and the rest of the natives will be played by me as npcs. There are five (in special circumstances, six) different jobs that are required of the explorers, and one of these people will take on the job of leading the crew along with a primary expertise.

The leader of the crew will be selected at the end by me, in that an npc of one of the planets will decide one of the staff is most fit to lead. Every person involved has been trained in how to use weaponry and martial arts in the case of an emergency. However, whether or not they're proficient in their training is up to you.

Each player will have the choice of making their own alien planet fit within the solar system for the roleplay or making a character based off of a race someone else in the roleplay has created (with permission, of course). When you send in the application, I will most likely accept, but I will also message you about details I feel need tweaking before I add your race to the page necessary. You will also be credited for your creation, so don't worry about that.
  • The Solar System

The solar system that our heroes originate from are called something different on every planet, but generally, the solar system wide name for it is the Hyule System, named for the brave person that brought each planet together with scientific discovery, interplanetary contact, and space travel.

The solar system itself has 23 different planets. Four of these planets are gas giants, the largest gas giant have two moons habitable for life. The three innermost planets are completely inhabitable and cannot sustain life, and the eight outermost planets are also inhabitable. Eight planets are left in the habitable zone plus two moons on the gas giant, each of which may or may not contain a race able to be played by a player.
