  • Soiled Dove

    doveof.jpg

A strange thing happened to the old teahouse, and while nobody's quite sure when the transition occurred, all they can really say is that over time the waitstaff's uniforms got skankier and the clientele got dodgier. The more scrupulous citizens of Cross prefer not to discuss the joint at all, with the rumor being that a certain Eleanor Marsaul took it over and transformed it into the single most economically sound establishment the township of Cross has had since the mine dried out.

Employees of the Soiled Dove can be pinpointed by the red scarves they are all required to wear on their person while on the job. It's also said that they must be registered with the City Watch, as unlicensed solicitation will result in a fine and overnight incarceration. They tend to be female, but males are not unheard of, as business is booming and variety is important to maintaining a wider clientele.

Anyone can seek employment in the Dove, but can only stay if they prove themselves able money-makers.

[OOC NOTE, PLEASE READ TO PREVENT DISASTER:

Public areas of the dream are to remain PG-13. All the usual IC and OOC consent rules apply: nobody is going to get in trouble for taking things 'all the way' in whispers or a locked room; it's not like people don't already do this, so it's fine to apply here as well. However, there will also be people playing prostitutes for the story potential alone, who won't want to play things out past a certain point and may prefer the fade-to-black option. Be respectful, DO NOT pressure anyone into scenes in which they don't feel comfortable (regardless of the role of their character), and keep anything explicit out of the main body of the dream.

A separate but equally important note: the minimum age for Dove employees is 17, NO EXCEPTIONS.]
