Legend says that before humans populated the World Above, Elves, Fae and Dwarves roamed the earth, building vast and magical civilsations, but when Humans began to evolve and develop. The magic that had always lay under the surface began to vanish. Nobody knew why, but it was believed that changing attitudes was to blame, Humans quickly came to power and with it new wars for land and supremacy, entire civilisations were forced underground, now considered strange alien creatures who didn’t deserve to see the sun and moon.
Most died during the arduous trek to find Hollow Earth, those that survived created New Storm City. The stories aren’t clear, some say that Oonora Jade was one of the creatures forced underground, who founded New Storm City and began to reign as Queen, and others say she was already in Hollow Earth when they arrived, waiting.
