    //Entity:EVE

    EVE is the name given to the extraterrestrial entity that crashed to Earth, nestled within a meteorite composed of matter with properties not unlike bismuth. No images of EVE have ever been publicly released, and very few eyes beheld her before the IOS arrived at the crash site to collect her. However, she has been described as an albino, frail-looking creature, long-limbed and bearing a sickly, translucent complexion.

    Countless and ongoing tests and research projects have concluded very few things about EVE; her body's composition is of matters unknown, and her DNA contains cosmic essences rendered incomprehensible, even to the IOS. Within her skull lies not a brain, but a web of thin circuitry composed of strange lights. The void left in between these lights has been likened to the hypothetical dark matter that constructs 85% of the universe.

    //Development
    "Children of EVE" is the collective term for the resultant "offspring" of the entity known as EVE. By threading her complex DNA into a pre-existing human ovum, the fetus is then grown and sustained within an amniotic chamber. The growth rate of each Child is rapid and exceeds all planetary life, and subjects can be removed from the chamber and awakened as early as four weeks into their development.

    Newly conscious children are then raised to maturity, with their needs catered for and progression monitored by individual researchers within the IOS. In order to maintain a certain degree of social inclusion and development, as well as cast away any accusations of ill morality, these researchers give each Child their own name. Upon instalment into the numbered roster, Children are tattooed with their designated number, usually on their hand, chest, or back of neck. Variations occur when mutations prevent these locations from being marked.

    //Classifications
    Researchers and doctors will assign a classification to a Child upon roster instalment. These classifications are based entirely around the risk presented to the general public and environment upon the Child's deployment.

    ►► Safe. The Child's abilities lack any harmful properties. This classification is also assigned to any Child whose abilities pose no risk of collateral damage and whose psyche is completely compliant. Child is equipped only with standard tracking gear.

    ►► Passive. The most common classification, given to Children whose abilities can be kept under control but pose a risk of collateral damage. Child is equipped with a non-lethal shock collar, interchangeable with a tranquilliser for individuals who are unaffected by electricity.

    ►► Hostile. A classification given to Children who lack any control over their abilities, or possess and extremely toxic mindset regarding their superiors. It should be noted that the latter usually ends in termination. Hostile Children are equipped with an optionally lethal collar.

    //Ranking
    All successfully rostered Children are designated a number between 1 and 128. Additional Children cannot be rostered until another digit is terminated or retired. Ranks are given based on the Child's potency when slaying hydra. Numbers do not indicate usefulness; healing or utility-based Children will naturally have a lower number than their siblings.

    The current roster can be viewed under IOS Database.
