I always try different recipes for tea but can’t find if any recipes online are any good. So why not ask in an tea group?

Ooh, ooh, if you like peel/pith teas, I have one you may like!

You may wish to use organic grapefruit or oranges, or just wash them really really well before using. I'm told if you wash them or soak them in vinegar it removes a lot of the harmful substances that may be on them, such as polishing wax and chemicals.

But, for about a pint and a half, or three cups, of tea:

1 bag/sachet Celestial Seasonings orange spice tea
1 bag/sachet black tea of your choice (I believe I used either Twinings or perhaps Typhoo, which I know have very different flavor and strength profiles, but I don't remember which it was haha)
1 medium size Or two small size bags/sachets Earl Grey tea (I think the brand I used before has gone out of regular business, so sorry about that, but it was one with a pretty strong and floral bergamot flavor)
About a 4th, 6th or an 8th of a peel, previously washed, and broken into pieces, of a medium-sized grapefruit (can be substituted with orange peel, or clementine or tangerine, but I love the flavor of the grapefruit peel)
If you can't measure a 6th or a 4th or an 8th, try using the same amount as would cover an area of your palm, and experiment from there.
Water

Also keep in mind that the grapefruit is a pretty standard American-store-variety, not the massive pomelo looking sort I've seen in some Asian TikTok and ASMR videos, although a much smaller portion of that could probably be used in this as a substitute too, lol.

Heat the water in a small pot or saucepan until it's boiling lightly, then turn it off and add the teas. I put the peel in a bit later, so as not to release all the oils at once, but you could try it right away and see what happens. Also mind that if the pot doesn't have a lid, or it boils slowly, some of your water may disappear; perhaps start with a full quart of water if you have this problem.
Stir the tea lightly, add broken up peels, allow to sit for 4-7 minutes for a good light but robust flavor. If you like it much stronger, leave for 10-15.
(I'm someone who likes bitter citrus flavors and dark chocolate and the like, so perhaps you might like to start on the lower end of the timer if you don't like such strong flavors or you aren't used to them yet.)
After a while I added more of the peel, but the tea became almost tangibly pungent from the citric oils after that, so I'd rather just add the original smaller amount. XD

Happy tea drinking!
i do kind of mix some stuff for in tea i like usually but thats simple but ill share my recipes
I personally like to add some orange slices, apple slices, cinnamon stick and maybe a few more things but i cant remember them. this was inspired off of potpourri that is drinkable but also makes your house smell nice. Since i had seen a few videos about potpourri, but watch out you need to take out the orange slices after a while otherwise it can become bitter or slice off the peels and add it like that. Also for the tea recipe you can boil it for how long you see fit. personally if you have alot of orange peels you can also make orange peel candy or also known as orangette if you want. sadly i cant give instructions for how long or how much of what for the tea recipe since it depends on how much someone likes one ingredient then the other and what not so i reccomend experimenting.
