since i want to talk more and look if there is active people still here and hello new humans who joined i hope you have a great time here!

but back to topic what desserts or snacks or things do you all like to eat while drinking tea? and why? for me personally i like to eat candied sugar orange peels with turkish tea. but i also like eating those kind of jam cookies thingys i dont know what they are called exactly tho
I like jammy cookies like fig newtons and I like orange peel too! I usually have biscuits (the American country kind) or just toast or a sandwich with my tea... But biscotti or cake or cookies are really nice as well. ^_^
I like having cornbread muffins with any type of tea. I haven't tried all of the tea flavors but I am looking to do so.
Ah, that sounds really nice! I used to eat cornbread all the time, not so much lately. I really love the way it tastes and feels, though, and I can almost feel the energy I get from it!! It's great on a summer evening when the sun isn't down yet, cold, with tea, or on a freezing winter night all warm and buttered. Mmmmhm.

Hello there, I am from the States and I can confirm that sometimes we do put hamburger meat and cheese. We also make sandwiches with them and put all types of toppings between them like jelly/jam, cream cheese and etc.

Depending on where you get it, they can be either sweet or savory. Word of advice if you ever visited the States, get something to drink if you order any biscuits from Popeyes'. They are very dry by the way.
oh okay thank you!

Cornbread is made of corn meal and it is called a muffin when you cook in a muffin tin. This is another thing that can be sweet or savory depending on where you get but most like it sweet here.
Some people put corn in their cornbread/corn meal muffins, but not everyone, and yeah they're like a sponge cake or a soda bread texture depending on how they're made. But I think they're nice whichever way. :D

As for biscuits, I'd say they're probably like a mix of scones and... Buns. I haven't had a hot cross bun but they look a little bit similar in texture? A very soft, cake-textured bread, or sort of like a fluffy crumpet? :,) I don't actually know.
