This is the place to say hi. You can drop a greeting as either your user account, or one of your characters. This isn't required, but it's nice to know who we'll be playing with. :)

I'll start us off. Hi, I'm the group founder and I made this group to have a place for wholesome fantasy shenanigans. I hope you all like it.
Ahoy, sinners! It's-a me, yer local idiot shrimp! Just popping in here for some good fantasy fun, haven't done me the classic 'party on a grande adventure' in a bit and I'm defo looking forward to tossing my favorite foolish OCs into something like that. Nice to meet all'o y'all (to come)! 💪
Hiya! I love the "deep fantasy" vibe we have going here. My old wanderer, Hangman, is a warrior through and through, but I greatly enjoy exploring his character in non-combat situations. I'm looking forward to getting him into some shenanigans.
Howdy strangers! Dazzle here, eager to bring a very, very bewildered and transfigured adopted family to the table. I'm so sorry for doing this to you again, Lisa, but at least your familiar and mother are with you this time, eh?

It's been awhile since I've done something as high-fantasy yet as low-stakes as this. Can't wait to meet ya'll on the IC side of things ^^
hello :)
it's nice to meet you all.
I love would love to get to know all of you all and have a good time
Hello! This is my first time joining a group, please be gentle with this clumsy self. I'm eager to learn the ropes of group roleplaying like this. Also very excited to find people with similar preferences as me. Hoping for the best of adventures and roleplaying for everyone here at Verdant Wilds!
Hello. :) Don't worry, I'm new to setting up groups. We can be clumsy together, haha.

Edit: Also, I'm sorry I didn't reply to this thread. My notifs must've buried it. I'm really excited at how many people joined. I hope we have a lot of fun.
‘Ello ‘Ello! I’m Lux Thomas! A Nikaa that lives deep within the deep forest where other Nikaas reside. A Nikaa is a very small human at its most basic. An adult Nikaa measures 5 inches and 6 centimeters on average. Lux is only 4 inches tall, but he is rather small for an 8 year old Nikaa. Since Nikaas live in the deep forest, they seem to have evolved a hate for humans and anybody resembling a human. But these creatures never act upon their hatred, they’re too scared. In fact, they have many clans and each clan is scared of each other! No trades have been documented between Nikaas and humans, and those few who have seen Nikaas describe them as tiny monsters that want you dead, which is completely false, Nikaas are too scared to try to harm you. If you travel into the deep forest and get down on the ground to look at the base of the trees, you can see the top of a semi-circle with a triangle in it, it can point different ways, and it’s the way Nikaas get directions. A Nikaa clan works like a hive mind, they can pile up on top of each other and do some cool things, but if 2 clans get mixed up together then they can’t work together and pile up to do things. And since there are no names for the clans, they can’t properly get back in their right groups, so either they die, or learn how to work together and pile up.
Hello!

Here seems a wonderfully appropriate place to bring my travelling bard, Paean :)

I am over 30, in the UK, and when I'm not proof-reading or copy-editing, I am note-taking or engaged in exam invigilation. I also do bat rehabilitation voluntarily.

Hi! I think I remember seeing your bat rehab thread during the Living Library event. Was that you?

Traveling bards are a pleasant thing to play and play with, ha. Glad to have you here. :)
