Craig

A former UG MC and current late-night DJ.

Craig is a barely-contained-heart-attack/speed-run-twitch-stream/36-hour-warehouse-rave-currently-being-shut-down-by-the-police attempting to disguise itself as a totally well-adjusted and capable adult male in his early 30s. He keeps untraceable hours, probably gets less sleep than he admits, lives off questionable amounts of caffeine and ramen and early morning waffles, is never on time for anything except his shows, and just wants everyone to get out there on the floor and have the best f*king night of their lives, you know?

We don't have time to unpack all this so let's sum up: your boy is a runaway, a late bloomer, a naive but hyped MC, a horrible choice for leading any sort of large organization that may or may not have suddenly been missing a boss, and a late night radio force.
He lives and works at Rekkid, and while he no longer has full command over all areas of this main venue, his outdated passcard somehow keeps letting him in and STEVEN HASN'T LIKE TOTALLY FIRED HIM YET so it must be okay.

Craig is originally from the purple side of the island and has family still over there. He does not talk about them, they do not acknowledge him, and all is well. But if your character is older than Craig and also grew up in or moved into the Mafia side of the island, there could be a chance your OC knew him in his childhood. We can work that out if it's relevant for you.
Otherwise, UGers would absolutely know him, and Squares might be not be familiar with his face but may know him by reputation or voice (via broadcast).

• Craig is not an especially sophisticated or technical dancer/stepper: he is not classically or formally trained in anything. He shuffles.
  
• He only syncs with certain genres of music. The further the beat strays from Hardcore/Hardstyle/EDM/techno/or the like, the less he'll be inclined to dance along and the weaker his Vibe will manifest (if it can be used at all). In most cases, he quickly loses interest in anything outside his preferred musical genres.
  
• Craig especially has no patience for partner dances or choreography, greatly preferring the booming bass and freestyle revelry of a crowded club floor to a dance hall or rehearsal studio.
  
  Tl;dr give him that kickbeat and pump up the jam.

Craig's shuffling dance moves turn all that kinetic energy into electric energy. He's a blue sparky boy.
In level of increasing power and energy and effort, his vibe is:
* Pew pew: Harmless but flashy cyan sparks

**BPM: Vibe manifests as electric zaps ranging from an annoying static shock to a defibrillator jolt. There's always the danger of "friendly fire" with this if Craig isn't paying attention to what he's doing.

***Hard(style) Reset: Override, Overclock, or overload electrical devices as he sees fit. Getting more out of an electrical device than it could normally deliver requires Craig to have at least some familiarity with the thing. Extending a cell phone's battery or beefing up an amp to 11 is definitely in Craig's wheelhouse. Hacking into a research district computer or disarming a digital lock is not: he's far more likely to accidentally (or intentionally) just burn out anything he doesn't really understand. The man's bricked enough cell phones in his day as it is.

****"Hand me the aux cable": ON UG TURF: Through the unspoken and unknowable connection of man and giant metal radio tower machine, whenever Craig gives the word, his playlist overrides anyone else's. They're always playing his song.

****Poledance: ON UG TURF: The grande finale, and makes for a heck of a party entrance. Craig can use the city's electrical network as a conduit for nearly-instantaneous travel, entering and exiting the network via any sufficiently large lightsource in UG or Research territory, provided that it is connected to the grid and powered-up. "Sufficiently Large" means street lamps, spot lights, stage lights, or the like: not indoor lights or neon bar signs or table lamps. He simply disappears in a flash of cyan sparks and reappears seconds later in a similar flash at his intended destination. He has never had success using this technique to enter FM areas and is reluctant to try again after his initial failures. He refuses to try again.

His vibe is not: Illusions, Light Shows, Hard light constructs, Lightning bolts, Laser Beams.(this list is not exhaustive, and I'll happily add more as needed, but I wanted to include it here to help clarify because I know we have multiple zap zap characters and i love them all a lot)
