Story as it Stands

• Personal History

  History is written by the winners and Averick is not, as of yet, among them. As such, he has no qualms about modifying his own personal story so as to better fit his listeners' preferences. For example, he agrees that he was a prisoner prior to being sold into slavery; however, if asked, he will describe his alleged crimes as ideologically motivated (the official record paints him as a common opportunist.) Likely, the truth lies somewhere between two poles, if it even exists at all.
