Chris gave a nod, "Great, we can head on back then." She whistled and Kitty turned about. The two led the way to the town, where Nurse Joy was more than happy to heal Titania's Pokemon. The towns people were all gathered around the baseball field, watching a game.

Chris waited outside the Pokecenter and was ready to go when Titania was finished. Swooping her hand into a thumbs up, "Alright! All ready to go. Hopefully we'll find some sweet water Pokemon." Though that was highly unlikely, given that they were travelling through the woods.

(Do I wait to be introduced?)
Titania soon made it back to the pokemon center with Chris and upon arriving, handed over Oberon's pokeball to nurse joy. Upon being given the Sylveon's ball back, she happily let him out of his ball again. The moment Oberon was out again, he promptly greeted his beloved mistress by having one of his feeler's around her wrist affectionately.

Walking back out of the center with both Oberon and Lagi in tow, she saw Chris make a thumbs up and stating that they were ready to go. The blue haired trainer also mentioned her desire to find some sweet water pokemon. At this Titania chuckled before saying. "I think that would be rather unlikely unless we spotted at a river or lake in the middle of the forest. Though I could really use a water pokemon...actually I could use just about anything at this point as I only have three types of pokemon right now. I suppose I did have a chance at those bug types earlier, but I would rather save my balls for something else. Bug moves are resisted by a lot of types after all."

Afterwards, the two trainers and their pokemon started to head back towards the woods. Hopefully this time Titania would make her way safely to the lab.
Chris lifted her eyebrows, "Are they? I really don't follow all those trends, so I guess I never stopped to think about it."Chris just really liked water Pokemon and whether or not they won battles was not at the top of her list. But she walked into the woods with Kitty close behind.

Chris pushed through the woods at a comfortable pace. She made excellent time, taking in the sights of the trees and the clusters of Pokemon nests that were in trees or bushes. The sun was going down and just before nightfall, the trainers and their Pokemon encountered...

"I want to have a pokemon team with a variety of types so they can hopefully cover each other's weaknesses and better help me in a wide range of situations. You never know what sort of trouble you might run into during one's travel's after all. However if having a lot of water type pokemon makes you happy then go for it." Titania explained before also encouraging Chris to do whatever makes her happy.

As they traveled through the forest, Titania would be pleased to see that so far they had done so without incident. The sun was going down though so they would probably have to stop to make camp soon. Then just as it started to get dark, they ended coming across two pokemon. One clearly bug type and the other that seemed to be wearing a white outfit with pink and black markings.

As she had earlier mention, she had no interest in a bug type, but what was that other pokemon? She pulled out her pokedex and tried to see if she remembered seeing or hearing about this particular pokemon before.

(You managed to completely stump me on the first pokemon. The only dress wearing pokemon are the Jynx, Gardevoir and Gothitelle lines and none of those fit that description. The closest is Gothitelle, but that's a black dress with white markings. The bug is clearly Scatterbug though.

Also could you add the rank rolls chart to the useful charts thread? I had a bit of trouble finding it on the pdf file.

Edit: OMG that was a HORRIBLE roll. Now I won't get to figure out that pokemon that stumped the crap out of me. X.X)

Adept Pokemon Education

The Pokedex pinged up with a picture of Gothita, but connecting the picture with the Pokemon...there were little differences. The specks of pink, upon closer inspection, were berry pieces. Probably from its last meal. The two Pokemon glanced to the two trainers and their Pokemon, stopping and readying themselves.

Chris looked over Titania's shoulder, "Wow, your Pokedex is so nice. Where'd you get it?" She scooted back and fumbled about, pressing a few buttons. Holding her own Pokedex upward, she scanned the two Pokemon. It took a bit and it came up with, "Pokemon Unknown. Pokemon Unknown."
(What threw me off is that Gothita's dress is really black, not white. It's much easier to tell that once it evolves though.)

Titania was glad that the pokedex was able to tell her what pokemon it was, though it looked a little different from the picture provided by the pokedex. On closer inspection, she could see that the specks of pink were actually berry pieces. This was a psychic type pokemon, but really a psychic type wasn't that great for her. Psychic moves were only really good against fighting and poison types. The fighting type she already have more then covered with her current pokemon, now while she didn't have anything for poison...well a ground type would be much better for that. Besides the ground type was the only type that was really good against the electric type.

It was at that moment that she was drawn from her thoughts by Chris's question about her pokedex. "Oh my grandfather got it for me when I registered as a trainer. He said I deserved it for putting my dream of being a pokemon trainer on hold for three years for the sake of the Nirvana Reserve. Thanks to it and Oberon here, I can carry a piece of my home with me wherever I go."
Chris laughed, "Woah, really? Because my grandfather gave me mine. Or...uncle? Teacher?" She shrugs, "He was this really old man who lived on a wharf..." Then she turned and spied the two Pokemon who were looking at them, and pointed with both her hands, "We'll just be leaving now.."

She whistled to Kitty and skirted away from the two Pokemon in a slow, steady manner. Eventually, she motioned for Titania to follow with a beckoning motion. If Titania followed, Chris would let out an held breath, "Whoo. Anyway, he lived on a wharf and fished everyday. He let me stay in his spare cot, as long as I caught him dinner."

Chris smiled softly, "It was a different time, when I didn't know any better. I use to really like Magikarp, but I still do. I just don't eat them anymore."
Titania nodded and listened as Chris explained how she got her pokedex. She found it curious how Chris didn't seem to know what sort of relation the man had to her, but decided against asking about that. Instead she decided to ask about Kitty. "So if your...friend gave you your pokedex, where did you get Kitty from? Was he your official starter pokemon? Oberon here was a present from my parents...my last present." At this, she started to look rather depressed which Oberon quickly responded to by rubbing his head against her hip, squeezing her wrist with one of his feelers and calling out "Yani." Clearly this was an attempt to get Titania to pay attention to him instead of those painful memories. Well it seemed to work as his trainer responded by gently petting his head and saying. "Thanks Oberon."

After this, the two of them left the two wild pokemon behind and Chris continued to talk about her past which apparently included catching magikarp for dinner. "I have never eaten Magikarp myself though I as I lived in a pokemon reserve, catching them would have been illegal anyway so there wasn't too much opportunity for that anyway."
Chris was pushing her way past tree branches, holding them and letting Titania pass her before she released them. Glancing up between the holes in the forest's canopy, she was caught off guard by Titania's question, "Kitty?" Looking down at the Vaporeon, who mewed when he heard his name. Chris couldn't help but to reach down and curl her finger along his cheek, "By the beach side."

She returned her eyes to Titania, frowning some, "I'm sorry. I've lost my parents too, or rather, they lost me on purpose." Chris mulled it over for a while, then shook her head, "I guess I haven't been really forthright." She bit into her lip, then sighed, "He's not really my Pokemon. What, I mean is is that he's a...wild Pokemon." Chris lifted her hands up in her defense, "Please, please don't tell anyone. The last thing I want is for someone to toss a Pokeball his way."

Staring down at Kitty's large fins and happy face, "I don't know what I would do if I lost him." Chris rubbed at her eyes with the sleeve of her hoody, "Uh, anyway. We should get going.."

Titania thanked Chris as she helped her past the tree branches and kept an eye out for any wild pokemon. It would be bad if they were caught unaware by any aggressive species like Mankeys or Beedrills. As they walked, she eventually asked how Chris obtained Kitty before making herself depressed by explaining how she got Oberon. As the Sylveon comforted her, she managed to notice the strange pause Chris had before answering the question about Kitty, but she really wasn't in the mood to think anything about it.

As Chris told her that she was sorry about her losing her own parents and how her's had lost her, the white haired teen would violently shake her head. "I didn't "lose" my parents, they were taken from me, murdered by Team Rocket." Her words were filled to the brim with venom and anger, enough so that Oberon made a cry of concern before coming up with a great idea. Moving his feelers higher up, he proceeded to use them to tickle her. "Oberon...giggle...stoooppp...hahaha..." Quickly the power of tickles had her laughing helplessly which left her anger and bitterness to fade away. Soon the Sylveon would stop and Titania would go down on one knee to hug him while Oberon nuzzled her cheek with his head.

Standing back up, she answered Chris's plea with. "Of course I won't tell anyone, though you might want to consider asking Kitty to let you catch him. It's just that all it would take is one badly thrown pokeball and your secret is out. That or some entitled or oblivious trainer just tossing one at him directly. Someone tried doing that to Oberon once you see."

(Sorry for the slow response. I was on hiatus since I had a friend visiting from across the country.)
[7/8]

Chris lifts her brows, "Oh! Well, that's even worse.." She had to take a step back, just in case, but her eyes drifted between Oberon and his trainer. Scratching at the back of her neck, she let's out a sigh, "Yeah, I'm sorry." She honestly didn't know. Bending down and collecting Kitty in her arms, she held him tight to her chest, despite his meowing protest, "I'll think about it. I don't want to do it right away."

Smiling a little, "But we're almost there, to the place. I can feel it." The air was a bit warmer and Chris pointed to the clearing, where the woods finally gave way to a road and the large, white dome-like building beyond, "Here we are!" To their left was the long bridge over the water, where trainers were holding friendly competitions on. Ahead of them, and upwards, was the smoldering mountain. There was a pathway up and a general map of the mountain's layout on the side of it.

But to the right and up a small incline, was the white dome building. Chris allowed Kitty to walk beside her, "That's the science center. There's a lake near here and I think I'll set up camp there. It's just to the right of it, there's a pathway. You can find me there, once you're done, or you know." She shrugged a bit, "We'll be there. I want to see if I can catch some new Pokemon."

It had taken them some time to reach the other side of the woods, and it was almost nightfall. But the dome still seemed to be open. It had many trainer tents huddled around its front slope.
Thankfully the ever faithful Oberon was there to soothe Titania's anger so she didn't take it out any further on Chris. Upon calming down and standing back up, she said. "It's a...painful topic. Let's move past it."

Fortunately they did so with Chris revealing that Kitty was in fact still a wild pokemon, much to Titania's great surprise. At this she promptly promised that she wouldn't tell anyone, but also tried to get her to reconsider, pointing out things that could happen beyond her control that could reveal the Vapereon's wild status. Eevees and their evolutions were rare and very popular so it wasn't hard to picture some jerk trying to steal Kitty upon learning that he was still a wild pokemon. However she let the subject go with a nod once Chris said she'd think about it. She wasn't going to push it any further, but dearly hoped that it nothing would happen to Kitty because he was still wild.

Titania smiled when Chris stated that she could feel that they were getting close and shortly afterward pointed to a large white dome like building in the distance. It was there that the two trainers would part again as Chris intended to head to the lake nearby to search for pokemon and make camp there. " In turn she answered with, "I'll come meet you by the lake once I'm done even if it's after dark as Lagi can help me navigate thanks to the flame on his tail."

With that they parted ways for now as Titania started to head for the science center. As she headed there, she held Rufflet's pokeball tight to her chest, hoping with all her heart that the people there would be able to give her the answers about his condition.

By the time, she got there, it was nearly nightfall, but luckily the place still seemed to be open. As such she went inside and looked for a receptionist.
In the dark of night, there were several campfires lit and trainers from all ages were camping outside the science center. Some of their Pokemon were out, being fed treats or performing a nightly exercise routine. Other trainers were chatting between each other about the Battle Bridge and the new technologies that the Falcor Corp has been creating.

But as Titania approached the camp, there was a sudden booming sound. It was so loud that the whole camp became quiet soon after, trainers looking around, "What was that? Did you hear that?" On top of the mountain came a rumbling thunder. A huge boulder had been unleashed. It crashed through trees and the mountain trail signs alike, making haste towards the camp. It's outline was just barely visible in the setting sun, but it made itself very clear as it bounced off the mountain's edge.

The boulder was in the air when Titania saw it. It was only a matter of time before it crashed into the camp or even the science center! Something inside Titania stirred. Her mind awakened! She felt that it was within her power to slow the boulder to a halt before it finished its final bounce, if she applied this strange sensation!

Meanwhile, Chris picked out a prime spot near the lake and set up her tent. Looking up at the sun, she judged she had an hour left. Might as well fish for a bit. She knelt down and scratched at Kitty's head. He curled up on the sleeping bag and Chris walked around the lake's beach for a bit. The weather was warm enough for a swim, but maybe she could find some Pokemon..
Chris looks around and discovers a strange blue Pokemon with yellow eyes and a strange oblong shape. She instinctively opened up her Pokedex, but it read, "Pokemon unknown. Please, update to the latest patch." Chris shrugged and pocketed the device again, "Well, let's see about a little practice." She grabbed a Pokeball and tossed it, her totodile popping out and lifting his arms up, making an excited sound."

Titania had just reached the camp in front of the Science Center and was feel very hopeful about getting the answers she needed for Rufflet. However she hadn't made it very far into the camp when she heard a loud booming sound. Turning to look towards the source of it, she was terrified to see the outline of a huge boulder in the air falling towards them. Just like that her feelings of hope vanished to be replaced by fear and sorrow. That boulder was going to hit something, though she couldn't tell whether it would be the camp or the science center.

Oh if only she had a machamp or an Alakazam, then she could do something about it. Oberon was already in front of her as if meaning to protect her with his own body, but there was nothing he or any of her other pokemon could do. Thus there was nothing she could do but go for Oberon's ball as she screamed...Then suddenly something in her mind snapped and a strange sensation overcame her. Acting mostly on instinct now, the trainer raised her hands towards the boulders and started to mentally push back against it.

To her astonishment the boulder started to slow down, but the strain she was feeling was immense. However she saw a chance to stop this disaster and pushed through it. The boulder continued to slow down as she panted with sweat starting to drip off her body. After what felt like an eternity the boulder finally came to a stop before it managed to hit anything and Titania was left utterly exhausted.

Yet she couldn't rest just yet, her goal was so close and she made a promise to Rufflet. Here was her chance to get him the help he needed and so the teen walked one slow step at a time towards the center. Titania was walking at a snail's pace, but the center was still getting closer. Oberon followed just behind her clearly worried, but unable to get his Mistress to stop and rest.

(Yeah I figured that stopping a boulder with her just realized telekinetic powers would drain a lot out of her. )
The other trainers, once they realized that the large boulder was nearby, went out of their tent sites to investigate. Several stood near it and many discussions about it arose. As Titania stumbled through the mass of tents towards the science center, more and more trainers had heard about the large boulder and left to go see it.

The sliding doors of the science lab slid opened as Titania approached. The welcome desk was occupied by a few science assistants, all dressed in matching white lab coats. One attendant didn't quite look up from her computer as she stated, "The Morpheus Science center isn't open for trainers at this hour. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please file out a request." He slid the paper along the counter, but looked up, "Are, you alright?"
Titania managed to painfully made her way to The Morpheus Science Center unnoticed by the other trainers and managed to head inside it. Once there, she made it to the front desk with Oberon keeping right behind her and making a few small sounds of clear worry.

There an attendant told her that the Science Center wasn't open at this hour and that she could schedule an appointment. Looking at the form, Titania weakly lifted a pen just as they looked up to see the trainer's look of pure exhaustion.

When asked if she was alright, Titania managed, but a single word,"Ruff...let," before her eyes closed and she fell to the floor, out cold having finally lost to the sheer psychical drain from using her newly unlocked power. Oberon quickly started making anxious cries as he started nudging his beloved mistress's cheek with his head.

Should during this confusion, someone would look at the form offered to Titania, they would find that three letters had been written on the space meant for the trainer's name. "Tit" was written there before the pen sharply dragged off downwards from when she lost consciousness.

(If you like, maybe a single trainer had been up during the boulder tumble and saw what titania did before getting lost in the crowd. Just an idea.)
The receptionist stood up from his seat and glanced wildly between the fainted trainer and the others present, "Someone call security! We've got a fainted trainer here." One coworker picked up the company phone and dialed the code for security, who stopped by. They wore grey, with caps and long sleeved buttoned shirts. They had also brought a stretcher between the two and one stopped to lift their brow, "Wait, isn't this.."

The next thing that Titannia felt, as she drifted away, was being carried on the stretcher. She was placed in a hospital bed, likely for larger Pokemon. And when she awoke, a security officer with a thick mustache and olive colored skin was waiting near her bed. He lifted his brows whenever she came to, "Oh, hola. You gave us quite the scare. But luckily for you, it was me who was watching the security feed."

He pointed to his chest with his thumb, then gave a few nods, "Si, this center doesn't know it, but it owes a lot to you. I convinced them to let you stay here overnight." His nametag read Carlos.
