The window seats of the futuristic high-speed train carrying the Heroes-in-training were now, overlooking the skyline of a near-futuristic city a short while away from ExoNova. The weather is clear and sunny, almost as if it is still the middle of summer, rather than early fall. It is especially fascinating for those who have never been to this particular continent
Looking at all of the sleek skyscrapers and pristine looking streets, it is hard to imagine that this city was almost entirely destroyed in a major supervillain attack less than ten years ago. If not for the efforts of many superheroes, especially The Bastion of Hope, Nova — the national Rank no.1 Hero, the city and the world as a whole would likely not have survived at all.

It would still be a while until the train reached the school's private train station. The students were free to move about and interact with each other.

Hm this place is rather modern" Sat in the back wondering what this new city would be like. It already seemed VERY different from the place back home where Sterling and I had come from. Back home it was a wasteland and everyone had started dropping dead from some unknown sickness. Well onto much brighter situations for example Like the strangely bright atmosphere that seemed to be hanging around the city. It was sickeningly ... optimistic but then again that is entirely what you would expect from something ruled by the hero now known Famously as Nova. Sounds... safe. Well then... here goes nothing. I do hope Sterling manages to pass the test. Meh he would breeze through it

Turned to look around at the other students. There was surely going to be a test when we exited so of course I relaxed and closed my eyes to fall asleep without really bothering to the chatter of others
Narelle sighed, a light hum escaping her mouth as she kept to her own devices staring into the window taking in the views. She personally was quite bored since there was nothing to do as of the moment, so she fixed her posture and waited for the stop to come. ((Idk there's nothing intriguing for me right now so I'm not gonna post more than a few lines.))
Looking out the nearest train window, Lucius's helmet shined as the sunlight made its way onto his segmented armor. With his cape gently waving, he walked to the far back of the cabin they were in. Although he was in his twenties, he was still looking to learn at the last hero school "What an inconvenience... transportation."He muttered quietly to himself as he sat down in one of the seats that was farthest from another person, his armor clanking as he maneuvered himself to be more comfortable in the small train seat. Resting his large, sort of blunt sword at his feet, he looked forward to the window that was in front of him, not wanting to really interact with anyone else unless he had to.
Lucius rhythmically tapped his hand on the hand guard of his handle, just a little anxious due to the number of people that were also heading to the hero school "Didn't think this many would enroll at this school"He thought to himself, now taking a look around at the other students.
Tobias had contemplated flying to school by himself. It wasn't like it was mandatory to arrive by train. But he didn't want to be an oddball and arrive alone. Nor did he want to be singled out as a loner. So here he was, staring out of a train window as the skyline of his 'home' loomed in direct sight of his vision. Tilting his head to the side, Tobias yawns before deciding to start paying attention to the others in his compartment. Only to notice that the seats around him were devoid of presence. His eyes widen in alarm. 'This simply won't do!' his eyes narrow in determination as he jumped to his feet.

Exiting his compartment with the goal of making at least one acquaintance, the boy starts by walking towards his left, hoping to find another lonely soul. Or at least somewhere he could get some food from. At this point either would for him. "Food equal friends," he mumbled to himself as he made his way down the path he had chosen. His hands were hidden in his pockets, and he was humming the tune to a rather popular song.
Sterling had passed the exam, and was currently fast asleep in an empty compartment. A backpack lay at his feet, carrying only the bare necessities and a couple bags of food. He hadn’t brought much with him, as anything he’d need to make, break, or eat stuff he could procure himself if need be. He woke up momentarily when the train rattled a bit, getting up and peeking out of his compartment. “Hey.” He said tiredly as Tobias passed, waving before going back inside and lying down.
I hum to myself wondering what to do and walked along the train's passageway as I grin and locate Sterling who was ... sleeping. Honestly, this one could sleep anywhere. Sighing I walk into the compartment and sat down across from Sterling "Are you going to be sleeping the whole trip hm? It seems like this train is ... surprisingly full this time"
Tobias, on his mission to talk with some people and maybe even make a friend or two, almost jumps out of his skin when he is greeted by a random guy in one of the compartments. His eyes widen as he turns his head to look at the other boy, his mouth partially open to reply. Only to stop himself when he noticed a girl walk into the boys' compartment. 'People. Scary.' His mind resonates as he quickly turns around and starts speedwalking away from the compartment.
Narelle wasn't feeling the emotion necessary to properly convey her wish to simply ignore the people who were idling around trying to make small talk or make friends, it put her off to be entirely honest that they thought (in her eyes) it was just going to be a trip of rainbows and sunshine until they get out of the academy. "Could you all stay quiet you're all annoying." She stated sourly.
Tobias once again jumps in surprise as another voice enters the fray. Another girl. This one seemed angry tho. After landing he looks at her like a deer caught in surprise. Did she look...angry? No. It wasn't anger. He tilts his head to the side, looking like a cat that was utterly confused. Before vigorously shaking his head, "Sorry!" he squeaks out, even though he had not caused all that much noise. If any at all.
Lucius sighed as the noise level sort of quieted down in response to that female's statement "How amusing..." Spoken in a quiet yet dull tone, Lucius stood up and faced the nearby window. His great sword now resting on his shoulder, and angled behind his head as it just barely touched the roof of the train, his free hand resting near his leg. Looking out of the window, he admired the beautiful city that he would be living in during his time in the academy.
While the others were arguing over something or another, alone a student sat a short while away with his head leaning against the reinforced windows of the train that was carrying him closer to his goal of becoming a great Hero like his Father. The boy in question had a small smile plastered on his face and was wearing a pair of headphones to cover up the fact that he was totally deaf. This Hero-to-be was none other than Hyperion Darkmier.

As Hyperion tried to pay attention to the sight of his Aunt's chosen city, his vision was clouded by the noise made by the other passengers. It was getting very annoying. Turning his head to look towards the others, he throws them a glare.
Idling in a seat near the middle of the action, rubbing his hands together while looking out of the window. Seemingly, his appearance was the most unique compared to all the other students, excluding maybe the guy wearing the entire suit of armor. His skin was a transparent red, making his skeleton present in the areas not blocked by his clothing. Being born with an individuality like his made him very susceptible to being called a villain, but he never let that stop him.

The crowd that chattered nearby seemed to disrupt the boy with blonde hair as badly as it did he. It would be easy for him to begin conversing with the others, but due to the predicament he faced, he decided against it. He was an outcast who came all the way from Japan to pursue his dreams, but mostly because his father was a convicted Yakuza member.
You guys are annoyingly loud" Drawled out and petted Sterling's hair as he slept
As the passengers got louder, he turned around and slammed the base of his sword into the floor of the train, causing a dent in the floor to form "Quiet, please..."Lucius sort of yelled as his sword caused a loud clanging sound upon hitting the ground. Removing his left hand from the top of the hilt, he tapped a sort of button on the side of his neck which allowed him to remove his helmet. Showing his pale, scarred, strong(ish), and mostly angular face. He had mid length silver hair, golden eyes, and was not exactly happy with how loud the other passengers were being. But, he showed no sign of much emotion and had a cold look in his eyes. Holding his helmet in his left hand, he placed it on top of the large, guarded hilt "How many of you here are headed to, ExoNova? I know there can't be that many, so, i would appreciate if you would all quiet down, for your sakes...."Lucius finished in a sort of threatening tone whilst narrowing his eyes, he knew the other hero trainees wouldn't want to have a headache on the first day, when it would already be so nerve inducing.
Ho? We are wanting to spill blood already? How interesting" Smirked ever so slightly and closed the door to the carriage I was in with Sterling and let the others do whatever
Sterling woke up for a minute, nodding. “As long as nothing big happens, yeah.” He said with a little shrug, yawning. “But of a ruckus out there.” He stated blearily. “Hard to sleep when people are fighting. One second.” He then got up and opened the compartment door, making a small cut on his hand. Silvery blood flowed out and formed a thin barrier over the door, his wound sealing up afterwards. He then closed the door once again and lay back down. “It isn’t soundproof, but it should help make sure we don’t end up collateral damage.”
Pouted ever so slightly "Aw you didn't let me lick the wound shut" Sighed and petted Sterling's hair again "Sleep I will wake you up later hm?
He winced in pain, rubbing his arms where he began experiencing arthritic pains. Yami was very used to this feeling due to his individuality, but it always caught him in surprise when he forgets his medicine. He opened and closed his hand to be greeted with the ever-so familiar feeling of bones scraping against one another. He took two tablets and drowned down their horrible taste before kicking his feet up, and resting his ankles on the seat in front of him, which may have had someone sitting, he didn't particularly care.
Turning his gaze back to the window, he put his helmet back on pressing the same button he had pressed to take it off , to now put it back on. Sighing, he took a seat but was once again uncomfortable "Dammit" Lucius said in a quiet voice as he stood back up annoyed. Holding up his sword, and seemingly having it dissipate in a bright, golden dust, he used a little bit of his light element to return his sword from wherever it came from. But really only used a little bit of his limited elemental energy to summon it, and return it so he didn't exhaust himself whilst wielding it. Walking away from his seat, he flexed his right hand as he had been holding it practically all day now, and started to pass by other passengers who had now quieted down from his threat, to hopefully find an empty seat that was not as hard as a rock.
