Till Death Do Us Part

We still don't know what, how, or why it happened. One day we're minding our own business, blowing each other up, having a fine time, and then it happens. Outta the blue, almost; none of us saw it coming, at least.

Apparently the Virus had been spreading behind our backs while we were preoccupied. I suppose we should've realized something was wrong when the Administrator's announcements grew shorter, scarcer, and finally stopped altogether. We went on with it like nothing was wrong, but it wasn't the same.

It didn't take long after that for us to get swarmed by the undead. Zombies, lots of them, and everywhere. Apparently they had been attracted to the loud noises we made on a daily basis, and my God, they won't stop coming. Lots of good men died the day they breached our defenses and forced us to scatter. The thing is... Respawn doesn't work anymore. We can't figure out what's wrong with it, but when we die, we're dead for good. No coming back, no second chance. Nothing. We do come back, but it's as one of them.

Not exactly the same thing, you know?

We've gotta figure out what happened, and how to fix it. If it is fixable. I sure hope it is.

Just... Watch your back. Keep your eyes open. We've gotta work together now in order to stop this mess from getting even worse. We're on the same Team, like it or not.

This isn't a game anymore. This is survival.
