Description
An unbelievably gangling elf, Samir stands at 6'7" and seems to always have an innocent look on his face. His skin is quite pale, popping against his purple-fading-to-white shoulder length hair. On his lips are golden snake bite liprings. His clothes come off as rather well made, possibly showing his wealth. Always floating around him seems to be a pink glowing orb. What could that be?

Biography
Samir grew up in the fairy realms. He is half cousin of one of the many daughters of the Summer Fairy King; however this did not give him any kind of status. No, he and his parents were just simple "earth elves"--as in they did not have much access to fae magic. To add icing to the cake, Samir was discovered to be mute. It is unknown if this was caused by an accident or something wrong with his mind. He and his parents made do with what they could, developing a way to communicate with him.
His parents and cousin were the only ones he could communicate with really. No other child wanted to wait around for him to write something or take the time to learn his signs. This lead Samir to spend many hours in libraries, reading books and going on amazing adventures in his mind. Sometimes his cousin, Eulalia, would come to play but that was far and few in between.

Then came the demon summoning. While visiting some of his cousin's cousins in his early teens, they gave him a book with a pentagram on the cover. The boys snickered and bit their lips to keep from laughing too loudly as he flipped through the pages. There was a demon for communication! He got right to work preparing the spell (after all, Eulalia's cousins wouldn't want to harm him, would they?). The demon that he summoned was not an all mighty and powerful one, but a weak lesser demon--a gossip demon. They struck a deal: Samir would sell his soul to her but she would be his translator and voice for his sign language until he died. She didn't quite realize how long elves lived for! Dubbed Shirley by Samir, it was the start of a lovely relationship.
