  • Description

    Steven is a mix of his pops who was a light-skinned black scientist from the UK and his ma was a dark-skinned Filipino b-gal (he took more of his mother's complexion).

    He is quite muscular despite his old age (lol)

    Due to Steven's powers, his body was stuck at the time he received his powers (16 years old) for over a decade (forever puberty) but due to 'recent events', his body has aged up to 24ish.

    He is missing his right arm due to a nasty fight (with the previous Don: Bonita).

    He glow, he attacc but most of all, he's now a snacc.

    Steven plays games on his phone and his Switch as well as rhythm/music games.

    Competitive gaming is a bit too stressful for him plus people being rude in chat is just not fun.

    His fave games are Animal Crossing and any kind of Managment sim.

    - Steven was a bit goth/metalhead in his youth so he has a soft spot for rock/punk.
    - His fave band is Radiohead.
    - He has a knack for mimicking people's voices and cadences.
    - Can sound like he swallowed a tiny computer sometimes.
    - His UG name 'Rizz' is actually a play on his old name and RZA (pronounced Rizza) from Wutang Clan, not because he is charisma personified. But if your oc thinks it's that then... <:3c

  • What's Steven's deal?

    Steven has been the leader of UG since he was voted in after the Dance War of 99'.

    In those days, he was labeled a 'pintsized, snot-nosed brat of a boss' due to his physical appearance and his bratty attitude at the time. Being forever 16 was a major drag but Steven made do since despite being a tiny lad, his body held a destructive power, and that mixed with his intellect and his augmentations he received before Vday from his late father, allowed him to lead UG unchallenged for 2 years.

    However, during a large Solar Flare event that disrupted, removed and changed people's vibe abilities, Steven and The Don had a fight due to 'reasons' that lead to The Don whole 'dying?/go missing' deal and for Steven to...

    During the 8 years between the Solar Flare to now, there has been a 'Steven' seen about, but only at a distance, never for long. That 'Steven' never really got involved in anything apart from paperwork and admin. More of a shadow leader if anything, before accidentally 'dying' in 'an experiment' which left UG a mess for several years.

    But now this dude turned up in the present day and he kinda looks like Steven if he grew up and like his blood tests 'say' it's Steven and he has the same powers and somehow turned up on the same day there was a large flash of light over the ocean?

    A bit sus if you ask me!

    ATM Steven, seeing a lot of his hard work go down the drain without there being a solid leader in play for years has kinda just found himself back in the roll. He sees himself as a 'work temp' till someone steps up to take the role. But while he is in charge, he might as well start with more improvements to UG, right?

  • Powers and Dance Style

    Steven can absorb waves into his body, converting them into energy inside his body which he uses as attacks or defence. These waves can come in many forms. Light, heat, sound, kinetic, ect. This list goes on.

    That means he can absorb most physical/elemental attacks such as fire/electricity/ect.

    VIBE EATING - is seen as pretty gross by vibe users universally but Steven does it anyway :P

    As the waves are absorbed, Steven’s vibe acts as a filter, sifting through waves, only taking in the ones that are complementary to Steven. The rejected waves are expelled in the form of gas which he exhales. Some say if you stand in the smoke for too long, you can hear music.

    This does mean he is constantly bombarded with waves though he can filter through most except sound waves, which he is pretty much hearing all the time, though now he can tune them so they are just a white noise or music to him.

    Another by-product of Steven's vibe is glowing. He actually glows less now in his older years.

    After all this refining, Steven can release the energy built up in several ways. Bass filled physical attacks can shatter bones and ground alike, a sick shielding defense that protects the body from devastating blows and so much more.

    One of his favourites is being able to fine-tune his wave absorbing to listen in on conversations in a busy room. Another is making his hands really warm and pressing them against Ice users to make steam come off of them.

    There has been talk of Steven generating enough energy to do some real crazy shit, like 'tearing holes in the fabric of reality' and 'the power to vibrate every part of his body', but there are no pictures nor film to support these claims.

    All Steven has to say on this matter is 'No comment.'

    WHENEVER STEVEN HITS SOMETHING, IT MAKES AN OONTZ SOUND. He can lay down a pretty sick beat if he has a combo going on.

    ~~ There seems to be something weird happening with Steven's vibe when he dances with a partner. Something about temporary vibe swap but who knows? ~~

    Steven has been leaning more into the goth/witchy aesthetic for big events but is more into techwear and crop tops for casual days.
